    The only time i wouldn't want a jury is if i was not a sympathetic defendent/plaintiff and i needed a judge to be very legal (i'm going to win my charity scam case on a technicality).

    Serious question? A judge, an individual who is highly trained, vetted by countless other professionals and has decades of directly related work experience. Oh wait, in the US even judges can apply their partisan views, lol. Forget about it.
