Agreed. I listen to music when I try to relax but not when my hard earned money is on the line.

 

I have no music at all. I find any sound or distractions significantly impair my concentration.

 

How about construction sounds, ballplaying . or screaming rug rats?

Very beneficial.

 

All I listen to is the noises coming out of my X_Trader and alarm levels on charting soft, I love ALL music, used to be a pro musician/arranger, had a studio, have been an agent for a symphonic orchestra, etc...but I find my concentration during trading to be affected by music, even my wife is not allowed into the office, apart from occasional tea/coffee delivery...that's sad, I know
