  1. Ahhh, yes, the legendary marketsurfer.

I can think of no one better to make an example out of.

  2. mr murrey, oddiduro or whoever you are,

please get your facts correct before you issue inane challenges. the murrey math people are the ones making claims so the burden of proof is on them ( you). the challenge was made to the murrey people, not the other way around, you issuing your own challenge is an obvious attempt to obfusicate the issue at hand. it is claimed on an earlier pro-murrey thread that he can predict the closing price of a security within 1/10 of 1 percent, AND hit a hole in one by mathmatical formulation. i will reiterate the original challenge: before the open on any day, please tell me the closing price within 1/10 of 1 percent of MSFT. you (murrey people) are the one's making the claims. are you able to back them up ??

furthermore, i do utilize gann in my trading. you need to read more carefully next time.

  3. OK... let's do a "Gann/Gann guru" related trading competition in ET Chat during market hours. I'm sure I can out-call most guys and gurus... well except for marketsurfer...

Let's make the calls with Dow, S&P, or Nasdaq Composite because that what most Gann guys uses it an example. I'm sure you get Index quote for any real-time services whether it be stocks or futures.

I'm down for the challenge. I'm a pure-Gann trader. Using his simple geometric angles, time counts and time cycles. Sorry no astro yet but I'm studying it.

Well, who wants to do it... I want to see some of Baumring's students turned gurus to join this... GR, Cowan, Miner, Mikula and others.

  5. I don't know when but it'll be fun if Murray and heavy-hitters come in and takes a challenge.

I was thinking 1 week of intraday to be enough.

    I'm sure it'll be fun...

    :D

SOMP = Subliminal On Metham Phetamine
SFTH = Shooting from the Hip

oddiduro also challenge Murrey to a duel so he is not Murrey. Look like we can safely call off this contest without further ado.(hopefully he will issue a blanket challenge next time)

  9. Claiming close of the day? Claiming trades ona specific date?

    Ahhh... forget about it...

Are you just going to daytrade on a specific day of the month?

Let's do it for a whole week and see who can make more paper profits. We can all get into the chatroom and call trades.

    Or...

Is Murray Math just limited to certain times and it doesn't work consistantly?

This is making calls, "Buy now" "Sell now" "Exit now". No Money Management and Position Sizing. Just % Profitability, Risk/Reward Ratio, and Total Profit.

  10. I was under the impression that marketsurfer does not respect Murrey methods, or Gann. They both work, and work very well.

I am a position trader primarily, but I can daytrade just as well.

Where is this chatroom? How does it work?

I am in full support of your idea.

The challenge still stands to marketsurfer, Murrey's methods remain better than anyone elses on an intraday level.

BTW, I have never challenged Murrey to a duel, I would not be that foolish.

The challenge was to another user claiming that only Murrey software could maximize trading profits. That is not true.

I use the TradeStation platform, and can trade MM at least as well as anyone with MM realtime.

Besides, making real time market calls sharpens everyone's skills, don't you agree?
