Would you mind taking a look to see what temperatures the three NVS 295 GPUs run at after the PC has been running for some time? Can you also mention the ambient temperature by way of reference?

I assume you use an X58 motherboard driving two x16 and one x1 NVS 295 cards.

    Thanks.

  3. I have an X38 mobo... My NVS 295s run either about 50-52C or 58-60C... Nvidia claims "our video cards are designed to run at high temps... 80C or less is just fine"... I've seen where the GTX 480 runs at 95C... and that's with active cooling. If you open the case and direct an 8" desktop fan onto the cards, temps drop by about 20C.

Normal ambient temperature here is = 65-70F

  4. I've got a 4 or 6 monitor video card configuration for sale (w/290 and 285 cards)... they run cooler, cost less... performance in a trading rig is the same as 295s.

    Check out "Classified", if interested.
