Yes, it never crashes but it needs to be "reset" in one exception that I've found. I connect to my Windows trading computer from work and when I log out the home system is locked, i.e. you need a password to sign in. So when I get home I have to enter the password with the Windows' computer keyboard and then synergy works again. However, if I don't do the remote connection thing then I can lock and unlock the Windows box without synergy ever having a problem. The synergy daemon runs on the linux box which is up 24/7. When windows boots it automatically connects. Basically it would be problem-free for most users, I think. Try it, it's free. --opm8
I use Windows Remote Desktop and run one desktop as a Window on the other computer (the one with keyboard and mouse). Works very well, but requires WindowsPro.
