I emailed IB and asked if we could buy a stock in the US and then sell the stock in Europe, if the stock traded there as well. IB told me no, that you had to sell the stock in the exchange where you bought it. Can you confirm this def?
that is correct as the products are not fungible. As the European exchanges are competing with the US exchanges, I do not forsee them cooperating on this in the forseeable future.
