  2. Upgrades have always been included. I bought MultiCharts at $395 for a lifetime license and have gotten free upgrades since. The Gold version is the last upgrade for those of us with the original licenses.

why would someone buy multicharts right now instead of waiting for the gold version. my understanding is that the gold version will be released soon.

if somone buys right now, he will have to buy the gold version again or continue to use the current version which has bugs. correct?

  4. What about my previous post didn't you understand?

Once you purchase MultiCharts you are eligible for all upgrades through the Gold version.

Do you not use software? All software has bugs. I've used MultiCharts to trade for over 5 years. The occasional bug didn't make the software unuseable.

oh i thought you won't get the final upgrade from the latest version to gold version.

are you saying you'll get the gold version when it's released, but no more upgrades after that?

Also if you buy now or when gold is release it will be cheaper to upgrade to next Multicharts than it would be to buy it new.

    (1) Try MC in offline mode, close all workspaces. Use Quotemanager (QM), right click on symbol and choose to clear cache and delete history for the symbol and restart MC in online mode with backfill and see if chart fills - usually this won't do it. Go to the delete symbol option in 2.

    (2) Use QM to delete symbol then close down MC, reboot Windows, restart MC in online mode with backfill data option and re-add symbol in QM. Try adding symbol to a new daily chart and see if it will fill new data. If not, repeat entire process 2. [/B][/QUOTE]

    many thanks tmarket !!

it doesn't work ( tried it three times).
i always get a message .."send history no bars"
so guess i have to try it again and again

    thanks karla

  10. This is official information. It is correct that all licensed MultiCharts users will get GOLD upgrade for free.
We call this version gold, because it has all features we initially promised to deliver in the final version of our product. If you use time machine website you will be able to find that we delivered all we promised on our home page.
We are going to rapidly develop our product in the future, but it is possible we will use different brand or business model.
I can’t exclude that we will sell life-time licenses in the future. So ProfLogic’s information is not confirmed yet.
We will allow existing MultiCharts users get our new product with a modest upgrade fee.
    I hope this helps.
