Copyright law allows you to break the copy protection if, 1. the company goes bankrupt and can no longer support you, and 2. you have paid for the license, and 3. breaking the copy protection to permit you to continue to enjoy the license you paid for. (not for resale or free distribution.) edit: But seriously, this company has multiple products on the market with both subscription and lifetime license clients. (their Forex software is subscription only.) This is a going-concern. I doubt they will go away soon.
I see. But I am not good in hacking, and probably it's very time consuming process. Using the external hack (if any) could be dangerous for trading. The soft is working with your money for real, after all. I don't use any paper trading at all, and do a lot of automated trading. But if what you saying is true then it's something new. I cannot imagine it's allowed per law )) I'm not saying you don't know or anything like that, but it reminds me the famous treat that we kinda should not pay our taxes as per real law (even if such law applies, honestly, I never tried that ).
TS Support Open Letter The post below is an official open letter from TS Support addressed to the gentleman contributing to this forum under the nick of Sogodo as well as to those who have expressed a number of dishonest and unscrupulous ideas in this forum topic. We are not disclosing the name of this gentleman respecting his privacy. Nor are we publicizing the unacceptable threats our support representatives received from this person on LiveChat. The response below will be the only response for we do not wish to get involved into a futile debate. We want to provide the users with the unbiased and objective information that would allow them to make well-informed decisions. All further disputes with the aforementioned gentleman will continue in court. 1. As you can see, the availability of a considerable discount impaired Sogodoâs judgement and made him purchase a product that he did not need. We explained to Sogodo that we do not make refunds â which is clearly, explicitly and conspicuously stated on the companyâs website. One reason for such a policy is that we lose money on each transaction (the costs incurred in the payment system). The other reason is that we provide the customers with a registration key as soon as the transaction has been confirmed. This key cannot be taken away. Our website is regulated by NFA and meets the American information integrity and openness standards. We also provide a fully-functional free 30-day trial â to allow the potential customers make an informed decision as to whether to purchase the program. It is commonly known that programs distributed on-line are not subject to refunds because a refund would allow a customer to receive the money back and keep using the product for free. We have thousands of customers and have not encountered any such precedents over the 8 years of the companyâs existence. We always pay a refund if there is a solid ground for such a course of action. Moreover, MCFX, another product developed by our company, allows refunds because the transaction costs are relatively low. Apart from that, MCFX can be blocked after a refund has been effected. 2. Yesterday, the aforementioned person called our customer support service and for an hour kept making attempts to exert pressure on the customer support representatives threatening to resort to the charge-back procedure. When these threats failed to have the desired effect he said that the conversation would be recorded and published in open sources â which is illegal. 3. The aforementioned person has falsely claimed that the program cannot be used without the Internet. The product version 3.0 that he purchased allows working offline for 30 days. 4. The aforementioned person is lying stating that our company consists of 3-4 people and is located in Moscow. The development department of the company is located in Rostov-on-Don and the support team alone consists of 4 people to ensure a high-quality customer support in 4 languages. 5. Other companies in the software industry follow the same refund policies. Thus the claims by the customer that it is the first time that he has ever come across such a practice are false. Everything said by the customer looks like undisguised pressure and slander. P.S. We are sorry that there are still people like zgtrader who has suggested using cracks or people like jficquette who believes that Russians are not to be trusted a priori â even if they have been serving their customers for many years. Many traders switch to our products because of their quality and because of the customer and technical support service. Finally, those who have advised Sogodo to do a charge-back because TS Support would not be able to prove anything should be aware of the fact that they are assisting fraudulent activities.
Sogodo, sounds like sour grapes to me. I've never had any problems with MultiCharts as a company in my dealings with them, and their support has been first rate when I've needed it. Making generalisations about Russians is offensive in the same way as if you were to do the same about Jews or Blacks. If you made a purchase and you accepted the conditions of sale at the time of the transaction, you will be committing fraud by attempting to force a chargeback you are not entitled to. If you are successful, you will be liable in a court of law - I know, as I successfully pursued someone who did this to me in a prior business.
What if . . . what an awful way to look at life. I've used MultiCharts for over 3 years and have had nothing but good things to says about those I've dealt with there. I've met the owner and broken bread with him. I guess it all comes down with how you approach those you are dealing with on the phone. Their program is completely transferable. Their program is highly supported. I have 9 copies that run on all of my trading computers, all are nearly quirk free. I truly am sorry that you have had such a bad experience with them but between myself and my 300+ trading group, that is the exceptional situation not the rule.
I have found Multicharts staff to be quite helpful and customer-friendly and thus I am surprised by the experiences of sogodo. However, it could be that sogodo has a genuine complaint, in which case Multicharts would be advised to resolve the issue. We look forward to continued service and improvement from Multicharts - many of us have devoted significant time & money resources on this platform and would want to see it grow and improve. Jahajee
