Hello Guys, I came acrross an indicator that fuses both volume and price action momentum into one tool at: http://www.positiveterritory.com/do/tw/vpmo11.htm Are you using this or perhaps someone can code for MC? Regards
I read that TS Support increases the price of MultiCharts from $997 to $1497 after 15th of April, and was so stupid to place my order that initially was rejected by ishareit.com on their server. Finally, when I decided to stick with my AmiBroker, I surprisingly got the purchase confirmation from ishareit.com that initially rejected my order. I immediately contacted TS Support to cancel the pending transaction and they refuse to do so saying that all purchases are final. Even the transaction is still pending in my bank, and I am considered by them that I "bought" their software like 4-5 hours ago when I was sleeping. They don't do any refunds even if you cancel unfinished transaction! and very proud by that! You can call to their support department but there are only 3-4 persons including manager and all of them are in Moscow, Russia. They just spin out your time with the main target to keep your money no matter what. Yes, the company is registered in DE, USA, but not registered in Chamber of Commerce and not a member of any BBB (Better Business Bureau). By the way, their product is tightly couple to their server with authorization. If you are out of internet by some reason, you cannot work with charts even from local database using MultiCharts. Beware!
sogodo, call your bank (the card issuing bank) and tell them you wish to dispute a transaction. Tell them you didn't place the order/they delivered the wrong product/they're uncooperative resolving the dispute. Your bank will issue what is called a CHARGEBACK on the merchant (shareit) and you will get your money back. There is nothing Multicharts can do about this. Just be persistent and threaten legal action on the phone. Remember to do this with your bank and not shareit/Multicharts. Good luck.
I already called my bank and gonna file the billing dispute form. My bank just recommended to make sure that the case cannot be resolved in amicable way with vendor. When I was talking with TS Support about that THEY THREATENED (Marina Pashkova and Sergee Kuzmin) threatened to sue me for fraud, kinda I don't have any rights to cancel the credit card transaction! I am just wondering how is it ever possible that they increase the price of the product from $1000 to $1500 in just 3-4 days, and still they try to take out your $1000 in inappropriate way. Looks like they don't have much orders at all, even after their "promotion offer", and happy to take any money somebody left on the table even if not theirs
Don't worry. Just stop talking to Multicharts directly. They wouldn't stand a chance in court because a) The card issueing banks and their organizations are friendly towards the card holders (you), not the merchants (Multicharts). Visa and MC make sure you are not disgruntled. Basically the contract you have with your bank makes sure you're covered, while the contract the merchant has with VISA/MC makes sure the merchant themselves carry all the transaction risk. b) Multicharts and shareit have no signature of yours authorizing to debit your card. This was not a transaction where you walked in a gas station and signed a receipt. They have no proof you made the purchase other than an anonymous online transaction. The transaction you processed with them is a socalled "card not present" transaction. This is all your bank will need to know. Good luck, hope you get your money back asap.
I had just the opposite experience with them. When I purchased MC, or at least tried to purchase (because something is wrong with the billing company they use), They went out of their way to help me for a refund. I did not want one but they were willing to help. I purchased MC, and that week they even wrote some scripts and emailed them to me for the inconvenience. They really went above in customer support, at least in that situation I had. Hope all works well for you.
yes, I got the firsthand knowledge that there is definitely "something wrong" not only with with their financial policy, but also with the billing company they use". They are probably very compatible By the way, one of the argument TS Support used to refuse reversing "the transaction" was the fact that the billing company kinda "charges them $80" and it's irrevocable. That's why they prefer to steal my $1000. Is it russian logic or what? Even if I was ready to lose $80 initially, now I'm not ready to lose even 1 penny. They act by brute force when think that you're trapped! Probably, your and my situation are totally opposite. May be I was just the last guy in the line, and they picked up on me...
The copy of MC I have has a transferable license. I don't know if this is still the case with the current version. If it is, then you can just keep it for a couple of weeks and re-sell it for a profit ! (better than trading.) The MC server authorization is for 30 days. i.e. even if you are off-line, or when their internet is down, you can still use MC for 30 days.
I just scared by this company away, and don't want to take any chances with them. They are beyond rules, in Russia and their front in Delaware They can do whatever they want, and I can do nothing about it. They can change licensing policy, they ALWAYS authorize you on their server -- what if nobody wanted to buy it even for $1000. What if license is not transferable (I would not be surprised, by the way). I don't want and cannot be "the proud owner" even for 1 sec. Never in my life, I was in such situation before. And it's not about money. Sometimes I make more than $1000 per day trading e-minis (but not when markets are choppy). Today I lose because was really distracted by all this issue and cannot focus on trading, plus was hanging on phone half-time of the session Anyways, thanks for your suggestion. Regarding each 30-days authorization -- what if the company went out of business? Don't you have only 30 days left after the day then?
