Anyone knows if MC supports Market Profile studies?. I tried the 2.1 version but didn't manage to get a TPO chart.

    Best regards.

As long as you don't argue loudly it should be ok....

I sort of don't think MC is set up for somebody that trades intraday off the screen, maybe off indicators or automated... sort of lacking in that area, probably they can engineer that stuff in and will I'm sure.

I looked at the list of indicators and didn't see a "volume by price" or "market profile".. I wrote one once for Tradestation, it was not all that easy but it worked well once I debugged it. I had to have it draw sets of trendlines that represented the volumes by price, it involved large arrays of all the volumes sorted out by price in nickel gradients [I was using it on stocks] and getting the trendlines to end just where I wanted them to was a small headache......

However, in their website, it is said that MC has "Built-in Volume profile histogram" (see image)...

    Hello Andrew,

First of all, thank you very much for your post. I agree with you, the image is very misleading. Unfortunately, my trial version expired one week ago. I understand from what you say that importing a free study/indicator I can have MP with MC.

    King regards

    Hi,

Can you give us any update for the Data Load Performance issue which is the most important one for the moment ?

The priority for me (and a lot of other people) is :

    1. Data Load Performance (100x times faster is a minimum to be as fast as Amibroker)

What to do to be at the Amibroker speed level:

A- Instant display for local data (less than 0,5 sec for 5 years 1 min of Forex datas) - and instant display for ASCII imported datas

B- Display missing data during Backfill, starting from the most recent, like Amibroker do (for the moment, no data is visible until the backfill is complete ... several minutes for 6 month 1 min on eSignal with a Fast ADSL line)

    2. Radar Screen : the best friend of the active trader

    3. All other features
