  3. Was this in all releases or just the MC-11 release ?
It is certainly a huge issue !!

  4. EXACTLY......why would I want to change code when I change brokers.....

It is a bargain IMHO, at least for backtesting.

You do not get lifetime updates with Amibroker, so that is why it is cheaper. You need to renew your license for updates.
Backtesting/optimzation is very fast. It also has a large worldwide user base. Multiple timeframes from one datastream is also very nice.

  7. Yeah, I see your point, but I'm not psyched at all about having to change all of my Easy Language code (which compiled perfectly into MC the first time !).
I wish Amibroker would abstract their platform code so that all brokers APIs are supported without any special coding required.

I fully understand your point of view. I have years worth of EL also.

  9. I've noticed that response-time on the Amibroker community forums is much longer than that on the MC forums.

  10. Omigosh, on the Amibroker forums....all they do is give you links to unrelated issues as their "answers"....plus there is a lot of taunting and insulting going on there.
STAY AWAY....It's a sleazy community IMHO....unlike the MC community...who act in a professional manner.
