I want to implement a strategy that uses multiple timeframe tech indicators. For example, x# of 15min bars of Williams%R (intraday) AND y# of daily bars of Williams%R (daily). Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced software package that will let me apply the above indicators (plus my own combining equation) to create buy/sell signals? Please suggest a real time data provider to go with the software. I appreciate your comments!!! Bruce
neuroshell + emmetropia's MTI can do this.. at $2000 + $345, it may be overkill for what you're trying to do.
Thanks for the suggestion...you are right...it is pricey, but I might be able to get the return. I looked at the API in the HTTP Server on QuoteTracker. That about the least cost setup I have found....just started searching. I have been using money.net with it. Only downside is money.net doesn't support backfilling or individual access to their API. (Price is right though) Thanks! Bruce
Fibonacci Trader is designed exclusively for multiple time frame scaling...I would suggest you look at that, it is an underrated analytics platform...
The new eSignal Formula Script (EFS) language in eSignal v 7.2 might do it. Here's a discussion about using EFS with multiple time-frames: http://forum.esignalcentral.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=567
