Is this "What about Obama..." stuff going to be part of the new narrative? If so, I guess I will need you to get me brought up to date on the details of the "bootlick[ing] interfer[ence] with the election." :D

You told me earlier , Post #41, that you couldn't comment further at that time, but when you get a moment, I wonder if you could enlighten me on specifics of what "...the 'unmasking machine' that powers and rice were running" was unmasking? I really don't know, and I think I probably should, as it might change my opinion of Powers and Rice, whom I have as yet no reason to think are not competent, capable, honest public servants.

I have already made my mind up about Trump, of course. I could never vote for that guy anymore than I could have voted for Bernie if he had told me Hillary was born in Botswana and raised by cannibals, that he was going to repeal Obamacare and replace it with "something wonderful", and promised to ring North Korea with an impenetrable missile defense net and get North Korea to pay for it. But 35 million Americans were told the equivalent. They either believed what they were told or knew it was all a lie, and they voted for that guy. Either way, that's a problem. A big problem! A serious problem with our public education system, I would say.

  2. Seriously, you have to follow current events. Are you unaware of Samantha Powers proven productivity? especially right before the election. I don't mind clarifying a point or two but I can't rebuild the news-stream from that the last couple weeks, including the lib media- because no, it is not infowars or breibart. And rice, good gawd. Said she knew nothing about unmasking when interviewed, now has had to totally flip over- based on revealed facts- and change her story as to why unmasked. Big difference. Very clapper-esque. This is just the flow of events in DC being reported by all media. Stop trying to make it look like I am making shiite up that I am pulling out of my arse for some right wing agenda purposes just because you don't follow it. Doesn't mean I don't love ya, but c'mon, you gotta do your homework.

While we are here and speaking of clapper, note that that scumbag is now saying that it is "conceivable" that trump was picked up in a wiretap in trump towers. Heh. This is coming to dangerously close to Trump's statement that he was tapped in trump towers. All the obama bootlickers are scrambling now to change their stories. This would be the same clapper who testified to congress that basic americans were not being tapped without warrants, then had to re-appear to confess that he lied when the evidence showed otherwise. Why anyone ever believed him about anything in the first place is beyond me. He says he knew nothing about the fisa and unmasking now. That of course means he is lying just like on everything else. Just one more story that will end out being changed in a long string of them. Just as rice had to. And now powers has to answer. Liars all of them, comey and loretta right at the top of the list.

Clapper lied. That's well established. But I still don't know what Powers and Rice "unmasked" to use your terminology. Often times unmasking is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. But you must think that Powers and Rice "unmasked" something they should not have. Or do you mean that something they have now said "unmasked" an earlier lie, their own or someone else's? I guess it was your terminology "unmasking machine" that's got me a little confused as to what you are referring to. At this point we know Clapper lied about a serious matter, that manafort was tapped (and his home raided) , and that warrants were obtained. We also know at least one Grand Jury has been empaneled. If manafort was communicating with Trump, then Trump's conversation would have been picked up too. But that does not mean Trump was Tapped. We all know the difference. I'd like to know if Obama knew Manafort was being tapped. By reading Patrick Moynihan's book "Secrecy" I have learned that a lot goes on in government agencies that the President is not informed of.

I'm not all concerned that Manafort was tapped. thank god he was. He was a foreign agent who had got himself appointed as campaign chair for Trump! That is something that absolutely must be exposed and dealt with. They got a warrant and I think under the circumstances that would have been a no brainer for any court.

But Clapper! That's what I think we should be very concerned about. Snowden told us this was going on, So how both foolish and unethical for Clapper to lie. Congress must supervise the NSA with the same thoroughness they supervise all the other government agencies. The Congress, particularly the House, are supposed to be there looking after we citizens' interests. We must insist they do what we sent them to Washington to do. The Constitution gives by far the most power to the House! We have got to send competent, well educated representatives to the House.

  5. Okay. Apparently this is not the right time for you to understand. Follow the developments and that will either change or require more effort on your part to continue to not understand. Trey Gowdy is chomping at the bit to talk to them about what you don't understand and that's what counts for me.

in the above: I found this delightful paragraph:
“I’ve always found Paul Manafort to be a very decent man,” Trump said after the FBI executed its search warrant on his Alexandria home. Like all Trump assessments, that one was situational. Both men are brilliant operators with fine survival instincts. Both men, we can assume, possess damaging information on the other, and are studying their game theory textbooks to determine if and what they should each leak on the other to keep their own head above water. Who will survive? I put my money on Trump, crafty Trump, the master of ethics in crowded lifeboats.

Ha ha ha ha hah. Can this stuff get any better?

still don't know what the Rice-Powers unmasking machine is all about, but I guess I'll know eventually.
I hope the their "unmasking machine" gets fed Trumps Tax Returns.

  7. So the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, and the Pentagon as well are on it.

It never occured that Manafort could be a "foreign agent", aka an operative for a foreign country. But actually, why not: it is not an impossibility.

Pleading ignorance is never a good debate strategy. You are in the twilight of your life. You should know this by now.
