IG Michael Horowitz finished his report on the handling of the Clinton email case yesterday - sent draft copies to DOJ, FBI, James Comey, Lisa Page, Peter Strzok, former FBI deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Should be an interesting read to say the least. This might bear on Mueller's case because the credibility and veracity of James Comey as a witness could very well be affected. The IG has already referred McCabe’s case to the US attorney's office in Washington last month for possible criminal prosecution.

Doubtful Horowitz sent draft copies to Comey, Page, McCabe, and Lynch, as all those bitches are private citizens.

Could be wrong, but probably not.

Can't wait until this is finished. I'm gonna win my bet!

Many, many folks are quoting the NYT article yesterday regarding selected leaks made by FBI sources to the NYT in order to downplay the significance of "Operation Crosswind" and prepare the public for the forthcoming report from IG Horowitz.

Buried way down in the NYT article was the following quote:

"A year and a half later, no public evidence has surfaced connecting Mr. Trump’s advisers to the hacking or linking Mr. Trump himself to the Russian government’s disruptive efforts."

I have no idea how reliable this is, but from time-to-time Zero Hedge has had broken some headlines. His source is right wing think tank (NY Post, Media Matters, Real Clear Politics), but if true no doubt it would set the media abuzz...

BREAKING: IG Horowitz has found "reasonable grounds" for believing there has been a violation of federal criminal law in the FBI/DOJ's handling of the Clinton investigation/s and has referred his findings of potential criminal misconduct to Huber for possible criminal prosecution

  7. I think the appointment of a second special prosecutor is inevitable. This doesn't happen in other countries, very glad the USA still has people at the top that believe in following the law and prosecuting those who don't regardless of how 'big' they are. Only wonder if Obama will get splashed by the evidence. He sure seemed convinced that Trump was 'never' going to be president.

Well, I think this is where John Huber, the special prosecutor from Utah, comes in. Amazingly, Sessions appointed this guy to among other things work with IG Horowitz because alone the IG has some limited powers.

  10. Well, Horowitz has already undermined bigly at least one of Comey's two goals.

Comey had the goal of trying to get Trump indicted and/or impeached and the other goal of getting Mueller appointed to restore his (Comey's) reputation as the good guy savior along with the reputation of the FBI, under his regime in particular. That is why he colluded and leaked to get Mueller appointed.

With the the first goal he has had considerable progress on- ie. making Trumps life miserable and having all his associates endlessly witch-hunted....although the indictment or impeachment is not assured.

The other goal has gone miserably bad for him. He is on a little book tour high now, but in general he has not been restored and is considered to be a shadowy figure who orchestrated or enabled a lot of questionable activities, and has had to lawyer up. And no one in their right frigging mind thinks that the FBI reputation has gone anywhere but in the toilet even moreso in the last year, and it has not even started yet. More to come from the IG and more to come from discovery during trials. Many more firings coming, strzok, page, ohr, and possibly Rosenswamp - who is not technically FBI but the FBI Director is a direct report to him.
