  2. The truth is that investors all over the world lost hundreds of millions of US dollars with this Bitcoin (aka bullshit currency) in one day.

By the way, my dear brother in law lost more than 53 US grand with this Bitcoin bullshit, as we speak, so unless you have the money to reimburse him, I strongly suggest you shut the hell up !!

  3. Your brother is stupid if he had his btc all in one place. Expensive lesson but an effective one.

Madoff "made off" with 10-20 billion so don't even go there. MFglobal, PFGbest.

Same reason you don't put all your USD in one place.

BTC is higher now than when the mainstream media set the whole place on fire with BS. One exchange went down. If bats went down would that be the end of the world??? Some billionaire prolly bot from all panic sellers today.

    Hoi

Aahh... that explains your irrational emotional troll posts...

Well, it's really sad to hear.... but, just the same like all those who lost billions to Madoff, it's no valid reason to blame the USD (as the currency Madoff used for his scam). It's not Bitcoin's fault, that some crook at Gox scammed your brother-in-law.

    Hoi

It would be very unwise to ban it, as it will go underground and unstoppable. It's much better to regulate it and more or less control the "bad features".

For Russia: it's business as usual: Bitcoin is traded like before and (very large) Mining operations are still running smoothly. You simply cannot stop a decentralized P2P network, and you cannot stop Russian corruption and their black markets.

    because you own it? :)

Imagine if in the future, you couldn't even sue any exchange because they are dealing an illegal commodity? Then any exchange owner could walk away with your bitcoins and you couldn't even call the authorities, but I have a wiild shoulder to cry on...

How does that sound in your unregulated wild, wild west world?

    Hoi

Wrong again (man, what are you a xxxxxx).

We don't need regulation at all, we can and will manage it ourselves in time.

It's the Banks and some major businesses (think of Apple, PayPal, Amazon, etc) who want clear and regulated rulings, before they dare to embrace it... They are just too afraid.
