If you are such an "elite trader" then create your own MTSR option strategy that works.

Why would you pay YieldMax a ridiculous management fee and be stuck with a continually eroding NAV -- when you could use your skills to implement a similar call strategy that provides 100%+ distributions for yourself over the course of a year.

Reread my post. I actually invented premium based high yield income before any of this with my Hulk strategy. I replicate the same returns or better using Mara or various others.. I may start doing it with bitx.. It's just easier to let them do it.

Yet no one with any financial knowledge in options is buying your claims.

Just a coincidence that all these high yield ETFs pop up after I posted all my results? Hmmmm

Also...even if NAV stays flat it's a huge win because you are accessing capital via dividends without having to sell shares, so you maintain your income AND avoid a tax hit if you had to sell. How are you guys not understanding this LOL?

You really should spent some time with a tax accountant to figure the system out.

Dividends are taxed less than personal income lol... And if you want to talk capital gains, I'm quite familiar with that...need I remind you of my (2008) Lambo.:)

None of you guys will hold a position long enough to qualify for the cap gains deduction.

US dividends are taxed as income.
Return of capital is deducted from your ACB.
ETFs like MSTY that return capital are a reeal tax headache.
And what about your lambo. I assume you made payments on it. Which is another dumb move tax wise.

120% yield is a headache???!!! Dividends are taxed favorably in Canada. Why would I make payments on it? I don't think you can even finance a 2008 car, even a Lambo can you ? LOL... I'm making payments on the other ones because I wanted to keep the money for dividends. I've collected enough in dividends to pay off almost the entire GT4... And I'm still up in capital without dividends. Had I invested in IBIT I'd probably just be down capital LOL.

    Example IBIT versus MSTY

    MSTY
    Start date 19-Dec-2024
    Price 28.66
    Investment $100,000
    Shares 3,489
    Unrealized gains/loss -$20,132.59
    Dividends received $32,754.01
    Yield 32.75%
    NAV $112,621
    Monthly income $6,550.80

    IBIT
    Start date 19-Dec-2024
    Price 54.72
    Investment $100,000
    Shares 1,827
    Unrealized gains/loss $8,187.13

So with MSTY one would receive a nice dividend resulting in being up 12k on your investment.

With IBIT one would only be up 8k...with no income.

    MSTY wins again!

Don't you look at your statements? Ever notice US withholding tax?
Like I said, it will be worth your while to sit down with your accountant and see if you might do something different. After all it's what you keep, not what you make.
