Has to, because the share price is flat! I bought MSTR at 315 and sold at 375 within 30 days. I'd say I'm better off trading MSTR, risk and all.

Congrats on your msty dividends, waxy, I have been out of msty for 3 months(?) I missed the 2 dividends before this latest one

I had to sell my msty and even half of my profitable mstr call options from last year to pay my 2024 taxes...

the amount of missed opportunity profits (dividends and upside moves) are well over $200k possibly may be over $300k, I do not even want to review, just off the top of my head back of the envelope calculation, it's DISGUSTING, lol

Could I have just filed some kind of payment options for my tax obligations and left all my positions to recover? Of course!

Hindsight is 20/20, though, had I done that, I would not have had a full visibility to my risks across time and space

risk management is important and I would not risk blowing up and being in debt with the taxes if bitcoin had continued its decline and entered bear market, remember how bad the conditions were a month or so ago...

I do not even have margins enabled on my brokerage accounts, I am very risk-averse even as I appear to be a degenerate gambler

    Same here, no margin account!

BTC sure looked gloomy a month ago but MSTR at 315 was too good to pass. How a month changes things.

It was the worst time when I sold, mstr was about $230'sh, btc was less than $80k...

I was in panic mode, had to derisk asap...

How a month or so changes things...

mstr will open today above $400 and btc could break upwards above $100k again

I got screwed (again) with TSLA... Took a 20% hair cut on a failed swing.

I regularly follow MSTR against BTC for their correlation and whenever the spread between the two changes I get ready to buy MSTR.

Interesting.. I get $27 for Jan, $21 for March and $25 now... I'd say it's pretty flat but I admit that I don't trade small stocks. It would have to be in the thousands of shares and it's not volatile enough for me.
