He gets the credit for pointing out that news content is not the result of some grand conspiracy, but rather the everyday business decisions of media, advertisers, and viewer ratings agencies.

Yeah I don't get this argument trying to tie FOX news into this. My argument was not that about FOX being better then MSNBC but rather the integrity or lack there of over at MSNBC. And suddenly he is making this argument about FOX news.

This is where you went off the rails of an objective discussion: "Typical classy liberal." Which was, lol, right at the start of this thread.

This is a "gestalt" comment, based on many other threads, which include "diabolical" liberals, leftist media, "typical liberals", leftist academia, etc. My argument, when it comes to the media, is that they are peddling what people want to buy. If the media is liberal (and is "typically" crazy, as you say), then that's what the public wants. Apparently this guy went too far, but I'd bet money the execs are asking, behind the scenes, about overall viewer reaction (not just the ladies), just in case... they liked it!

    Bugs and Mav---

You guys really are fun! And, yes sometimes you say things that I certainly agree with. But, when I post things that don't fit your agendas, you seem to go off the "Ricter" scale (pun intended).

I'm not failing, Bugs. I'm not deflecting. I'm expanding the conversation, but unfortunately some of you can't get the connection.

Bugs, are you a FOX News zombie?

Listen to me Bugs: Ed Schultz is a windbag. He says things to make guys like you and Mav get upset. Bugs---He does this on purpose. It's called CAPITALISM!

Read this again, Bugs and Mav---Ed Schultz is a windbag.

    GEE-DO-I-NEED-TO-SAY-IT-AGAIN-OR-DO-YOU-GET-IT-Yet???

I'm not some flaming liberal; neither am I some flaming conservative (by your definitions). I believe in freedom. Oh my!...Even freedom to post on elitetrader.com even if my thoughts and opinions are in conflict with what you think I should write. Hey---It's America still; at least on the internet.

Ed Schultz is a windbag...Oh my bad, I already said that. But, I have other thoughts that are related to this subject, as I see it.

Oh what the hey. One of you guys just PM me your address and I'll consider mailing you my keyboard.:p

I still don't understand what you are trying to say. I don't think Schulz is a windbag. I'm speaking about the whole network. And not because they are liberal. I could give two shits that they are liberal. Hell CNN is liberal and they don't have this problem. I don't know why you insist on making this a conservative vs a liberal thing. You are completely missing my point. And what exactly is my "agenda"? I call out MSNBC and now I have an agenda? That's swell.
