Of course, I am committed to fighting for our ideas within the Republican party, so there will be no third party run. And I have another battle I must face here as well. Actually, Paul has not quit or suspended his presidential campaign. He always knew at this stage that he would be facing a congressional campaign and must pay it due attention. Yes, his bid for president did not take off. But in reality it has exceeded expectations, and must be considered a victory for constitutionalism and the philosophy of liberty. It has kept the flame burning for another generation, despite the demonstrated love of the voters for authoritarianism, fiscal irresponsibility and the waging of aggressive foreign wars. America will have to hit bottom before things will change.
