Don't you think the $4 Cinnabon sticky bun will go the way of the Mrs. Fields $5 cookie? Dunkin, on the other hand, has a much wider appeal at a lower price point.
Considering that the $4 cinnabon has sufficient calories to feed a human being for a day, it might become the food of choice for mall-rat withdrawlees reduced to window-shopping: CINNABON CARAMEL PECANBON 1,100 calories, 141g carbs, 8g protein, 56g fat Add extra frosting for extra carbs! Yum!
Wow! You must have a PhD in Economics. Congratulations for such valuable insight! We'd all be totally lost here on ET without your in-depth "cut and paste" analysis. I guess Pizza Parlors are having a tough time too . . . Yawn.
OMG really? I guess we're all doomed? What's the trade here? Long bonds? Load up on double short index ETFs? Maybe short USD? Short AG commodities? Should I add to my losing positions in retail and restaurant shorts as nobody ACTUALLY TRADING WITH REAL MONEY seems to care about the 'bankrupt consumer' theory so popular on ET and these stocks are being bid higher, forcing short squeezes??? Considering we're having such great analysis here we should be able to bang out some money making ideas! Please share, let's all make a couple millions on the short side, it's so easy!
