ETs misinformation specialist (Van) at work again...must be a very sad or boring life. One tennis player retires because of extreme pain from foot blisters (Sinner). I actually watch his match on TV when he had a timeout to have a medical trainer treat his blisters...they were bloody. One tennis player calls it quits during her match...blames it on a viral illness and stomach cramps (Badosa). 4 or 5 years ago, she made rude comments about someone quitting in a match against her via the same problems. One tennis (number #1 player in the world) didn't even show up because she thought it was time to retire after all of her accomplishments in tennis (it had been planned for several months...Ash Barty). Yet, the idiots say it's not normal while not realizing it's very normal for most big event tennis tournaments and the same in other sports as the reigning stars prior to the Pandemic begin to reclaim the Hiearchy of their sport...getting back to normal. All other vaccinated people played normally and well including Osaka with her mental struggles the past few years...she made it to the finals...losing to Iga Swiatek. Simply, each event has well-known players, rank players that either don't show up, get injured in the early rounds, or rank players not able to continue in the quarts or semis...its not anything out of the ordinary... The ant-vaxxers using someone's "bloody blisters on their feet" or any other normal story that nobody would make a big deal about prior to the Pandemic to attack vaccines...pathetic. Reminder: Barty has retired for good...she's moving on to another sport (maybe cricket) although there's been a rumor she wants to start a family/business with her future hubby...I'm sure the anti-vaxxers will try to spin that story into blaming Covid vaccinations. Yet, as someone noted that's very familiar with the careers of top tennis players... I've quite enjoyed watching Ash Barty and I'll miss her game. I also think her career will be remembered as much for its statistical strangeness as anything else. She entered the top 10 after winning Miami in March 2019, and was #1 by the end of June—a record-quick ascent. Her three years in the top 10 were her three years finishing #1. Her time at the top coincided with the Covid pandemic and therefore never had the momentum and title-gobbling associated with being the world's top player. In NONE of her three slam wins did she beat a top-10 player. Her longest win streak also featured no wins over top-10 players. In sum, a rather odd career. As I'm implying, it will be interesting to watch the performances of many of these top players as more of the top players prior to the Pandemic begin to play more and get back to the normal playing/training routine. Simply, we should hear more about top players during the Pandemic falling prey to top players prior to the Pandemic...reestablishing the hierarchy as the Pandemic near its closure... It has nothing to do with vaccinations unless you're an anti-vaxxer. P.S. World Cup is not that far away. Pay close attention to the soccer injuries that end up o Twitter or Youtube as problems from Covid vaccinations. Most of the hospitalization and deaths have been those not vaccinated. Recently, I saw a Covidiot here at ET several days ago mentioning Ontario, Canada as a place where most are vaccinated outnumbering those not vaccinated in the hospital. Yeah, he made a statement without posting any statistics but he did post a link to someone's Twitter tweet...as usual as the anti-vaxxers do here at ET. I looked up the Ontario Covid Dashboard of the statistics considering I've done it a few times before in this Pandemic to see how much the misinformation anti-vaxxers are desperate to spread their bullshit... Seriously, it's getting lame to be a Covidiot that posts a lot of bullshit misinformation without any facts except links to other tweets to other Covidiots doing the same...spreading misinformation. Don't get vaccinated when you have a Covid infection...it will prevent about 75% of the vaccination deaths. Unfortunately, the above is a weak aspect of the global vaccination program not talked about enough because too many people are getting vaccinated without taking a Covid test to ensure they're not infected just prior to getting vaccinated considering many will have only a mild illness (e.g. cough, congestion, mild fever) if they're infected with Covid. Be smart...get tested to ensure you're not currently infected with Covid and then get vaccinated. If infected with Covid...be smart...wait until you recover and then go see your Doctor...have complete physical and blood chemistry tests to ensure you're healthy enough to get a Covid vaccine shot. It is unquestionable...any public disagreement and you are immediately found guilty of heresy (critical thinker), and quickly excommunicated (cancelled) or burned at the stake (outright ban from social media). I agree with everything other than "vaccines are worthless". They have a worth to the elderly and immuno-compromised. But everything else I agree with 100%. It is totally the medieval church and heretics are burned at the stake, all for the Science™.
