  2. Since you seem to know Larry so well, perhaps you could help me. The following is an excerpt from his site:

"Larry Williams has taught thousands to correctly trade the markets, won many trading championships, and has been the only futures trader in the world to repeatedly trade $1 million of his own money live at seminars around the globe."

Could you please provide some information for the rest of us regarding the other (many) contests he has won?

    Another fine quote:

"Larry is many things, but he is not a CTA (commodity trading advisor)."

Truer words have perhaps never been written. "Many things." :D

And finally, this, my personal favorite:

"He is the most highly regarded and well known short term trader in the world. No other trader is as accomplished as Larry Williams."

Talk about self-aggrandizement! It pays to have your own web site, eh?

And if skepticism should ever mount in the future, there will no doubt be another web site to reassure the faithful:

It refers to the % return itself, not the strategy. I do or do not know if he used to same strategy, money managment, etc during both cases, I was simply pointing out that scalability comes into play when you try to generate the same returns on a large account that you did on a small account. If IT was possbile, you would see funds that return 1000+ %.

In the past he showed pictures of what he claimed to be his trade statements. Lots of bond trades.

By the way while he may have had some profitable seminars or so he says because some of the trades were made post seminar.

I will also say this. On muliple different occassions I have had access to his adivisory services via friends. He has a dismal record whenever I checked in. In fact when a fox investment guy called me an tried to pitch his trade along program. I asked him point blank, has he been making money. Reponse, he is sort of streaky he does well sometimes. I said but is he making money. And the the said, I just gave you my best pitch, you figure it out. I said thank you.

  6. I was referring to the research and analysis I put into some posts. The one you quoted was just plain fun. But thank you for your readership.

  7. Jem,

I think that factual details are merely pesky inconveniences for Larry's target audience. They see the big picture.

  8. LMAO! Love that comment :p

Seriously though, I may buy his COT book at Barnes and Noble, because I can return it if I don't like it  Unless someone can direct me to how to use COT data, it's something I am considering using for confirmation.

Yawn....This thread started to get very boring, puts me to sleep. Please somebody PM me when an EVIDENCE surfaces.

Wait a minute! So you can ask question and you really expect answers?? I asked you about 20 questions by now, and I got maybe a halfbaked answer...

As the soupnazi would say: No answers for you!!!

The main argument on this thread is about Larry CHEATING in the contest. So far I haven't seen any evidence of it, so I am going to sleep.

    Good night!!!
