Thank you, Kevin, you saved me the trouble. Much obliged. We are very much on the same page. I, too, have received his bone-headed mailings from time to time in the past.
Surfer, you'd make quite an advocate if you set your mind to it. (Or lobbyist, or mercenary...) Are you saying that the NFA did not issue the Findings and Conclusion that I quoted from the book on page 16 of this thread? Is that what you are saying? Please answer this question.
I ran into this review of one of Williams' book. I thought it belongs to this thread, so I am going to share it: "Reviewer: William Schwartz - Renegade Trading Co. (Austin, TX United States) - See all my reviews The Austin Renegades are a team of comodity traders and PhD level mathmaticians that are examining the strategies and models put forth my Mr. Williams. Using chaos math (as preached by the infamous "Predictors" of Santa Fe) as a harsh judge of Larry's hypothesis, the results are completely as advertised. Beyond his algorythmic success is the more important theme that long-term good trading is a result of hard work, discipline, and most of all, money management. Assuming the above, Mr. Williams breaks down trading success into two components: Market Bias(set-up) and Entry/Exit Strategy. He hammers home that both are necessary for long term sucess. In short, his work is not a "Holy Grail" of trading to be followed blindly, but a definitive trading tool to be incorporated into one's own personal style. An absolute must for any traders library."
i guess thats a compliment. seriously, i am simply tired of seeing LW get unfairly maligned. he is a stand up guy and actually does trade live in front of the seminar attendees with his own money, then splits the profits if there are any. LW is one of the few if only promotors who readily admits that he does not make money all the time and often has losing days. this is what i respect the most. best, surfer
Splendid. However, that does not answer the single question I asked you to answer. Specifically, and I repeat, are you saying that the NFA did not issue the Findings and Conclusion that I quoted on page 16 of this thread? Is that what you are saying? Please answer this question.
please post the actual NFA charges and findings--- not a selective qoute from a dubious source and i will respond. thanks! surfer
Interesting. You have done "extensive research" in the matter but will not answer a simple, straightforward question with a simple, straightforward answer. Can you spell E-Q-U-I-V-O-C-A-T-E?
no, dog. i just will not respond to a partial statement taken from a dubious source. the NFA situation should be easy to locate--- having some issues finding anything?? LOL! surfer
