SOMP, coupled with solid risk management and position sizing has made me more money over the last few years than any indicator could have :)

In regards to the CBM's I totaly agree with you that it is good to do this, maybe not on a rational or logical basis, but we are only human right?

You know Mr. Sub it may not be a matter of expanding your trading day at all, you are playing by far the best TZ for a trader... You may want to maybe think over your strategy and try to hold on a little while longer, when the time is right anyway...

I have a strategy that I have been employing off the opens for a little while now and the results have been fantastic... If you are interested in hearing more just PM me, it is the least I can do for someone who brings sooooo much humor into my day!

    PEACE and good trading,

...Cut the "see yesterday" crap, Sub - how do you really feel about your results?

Personally, I think it's a tough day. I am up a little bit more than you (3 points), and feeling very uncomfortable about the whole thing - must be the full moon.

  6. tampa, the game plan for the week, which btw isn't over yet, was to be more selective and to try improving my entries and exits, all the while slowly building my confidence. On Monday I ended the day with 5 consecutive half-point winning trades. I increased the profit target to 0.75 points on Tuesday and even though today went relatively smoothly (3 winning trades in 5 minutes with an average holding time of 39 seconds) I will patiently wait before increasing the number of trades or the profit target. I am also fairly confident my behavior on a losing day will not be so manic. So, to answer your question, my feeling is that of muted satisfaction.

If only this were a game where the brightest and smartest took home all the goodies. But alas, it isn't. It is a game dominated by the trader who plays by the rules - day after day. Damn-it!

  8. My interpretation of the above :

Not only are you holding on to your original 3 points, you have probably since doubled it at least.

  9. Dear Son,

Even though you don't have the common courtesy to call your mother, at least your lovely Eva has sent me a picture of you and she enjoying the celebration of your escape.

I hate to be a nag, but I wish you would lay off the beer. You know what it did to your father.

    Love,
    Your Mother,

Wrong. I played by the rules, and took out my hard earned three.

It just didn't feel right today. Either I was not in tune with the market, or the market was not in tune with me. So I took a three hour nap. I think I did the right thing. I got some rest - and I got to keep my pathetic winnings.
