  2. Got a few chores to do, so I just traded the first hour. Decided on discretionary, 2 to 4 contract, tight stop, scalp mode today. While there will be no self-flagellation (coulda, woulda, shouldas) on this thread, I always appreciate feedback regarding my trading style. Those not wishing to tarnish their reputations with such a dubious association may PM me.

  4. I decided to play bunker after a good start and mentally closed shop at 9:38am, finally saying goodbye to X_Trader at 11:00am. Apart from X_Trader which is purely execution s/w without any graphics, I have nothing else open on my screens - in fact I rely on the bottom right corner of CNBC for the Dow and Nasdaq index quotes. The only indicator I use is SOMP.

  7. Got into a highly unsynchronized scalping frenzy trading 4 contracts and was duly punished :(

  9. OMG!

    Focus on quality, not quantity!

3 or 4 nice catches is all you need to make your day... somehow 483 roundtrips and a loss of over $3000 for all that effort isn't the most efficient way to go (but at least your broker is happy)...
