It's funny, in the military whenever an enlisted guy started a sentence using the phrase "With all due respect Sir..." what followed was certain to be disrespectful. Perhaps that is the case when you start a sentence with "to be fair"? To really be fair in any such discussion, one would mention, perhaps just in passing at least, that Obama came into office on the heels of an 8.4% 2008 Q4 GDP drop and 7.2% unemployment? And "to be fair", you were saying that inflation was going to be through the roof and interest rates need to be raised immediately at that time, no? And "to be fair", the same people who were screaming about the imminent inflation tsunami during the entire Obama term are now criticizing the fed for raising interest rates, or at the very least not stridently screaming about the same pending inflation, which ironically is actually probably more likely now because of the tight job market? I mean intelligent well meaning folks can agree or disagree on all this, but "to be fair" you just can't pretend like the context of the situation didn't exist and Obama the "economic dunce" just lucked out with low interest rates and QE to make him look good. Not if you're truly trying "to be fair".

A house of cards built on a foundation put in place looooong before Obama's time (not my guy either, just so you know).

The same house of cards that Drumpf has benefited from.

No surprise as ZIRP goes away so does the bull. Well we still got in bull.... in Washington.

  3. Trump surely boasts a lot and takes a lot of credit for the rise of the market built on a house of cards.
your comments here explain your post/like ratio, weak.

Either you're very young, or you have a very short memory. In either case, you're failing to take into account the mess that Obama walked into.

He doesn't blame it on the outrageous trade wars that he's waged against pretty much everybody in the world including US' closest allies and instead blames it on something that's supposed to happen sooner or later? What does he expect people to do? Pay the banks for depositing their money with them and at the same time living in bubble economy based on no fundamental value because he' screwed up supply management?

The economy will eventually slow down or collapse sooner even if Powell puts on negative interest rate because nobody can money as before anymore with COG costing 3X as before? This is what happens when you listen to a trade advisor that practices voodoo economics.

Sorry, Trump built himself a house of cards on top of the existing house of cards, as far as I understand it...

    Here's the scenario...

Everything is groovy and ok When he comes into office in end of 2016.

    Things are level, nothing major.

    TAX CUTS! WHOA!

2017 goes "mmmm", takes it in the ass. Everyone LOVES tax cuts!!!! YAY! WHOOPEE!

But those tax cuts came at what cost? Lost revenue for the government...So they start raising yields on their notes to be able to replace the money that is now lost by said tax cuts. AND...With the economy heating up a bit, and with everything in the world, and his gob-macking idea to toss a trade war with the second-largest economy in the world into the mix? *sniffs* Trump is the LAST person in the world who should be commenting on global economy, when he can't even manage one of his own casinos out of bankruptcy.

A typical reaction from a Trump supporter, who, just like Trump, lacks some intelligence.
It is not because we don't like Trump that we are leftists. I am very right winged, but I don't like Trump, like many people, not only in the US but all around the world. I think there has never been a president that generated so much protests all over the world. There is a reason for that.

What you basically say is: if you don't like white (Trump) you like black (Hillary).
That logic is "hilarious" and pure nonsense.
I can like any person, even one from the same party as Trump. But that seems to be to difficult to understand for the majority of Trump supporters.

If being anti Drumpf makes me a leftie I'm proud to be one LOL.

A "leftie" who unlike Drumpf was never for ObamaCare and many other leftie (or rightie) restrictions. And also unlike Drumpf I am still for smaller, less controlling more accountable gubmint.

But when it is all said and done Drumpfkins still don't get it right, left, down the middle - Drumpf is for Drumpf. Period.
