MPEL IPO - Straight Macau Gaming Play

Discussion in 'Stocks' started by ByLoSellHi, Dec 19, 2006.

  1. I knew it. I'm so happy when I maintain my discipline.

This garbage stock (no track record, no profit, no actual 'thing', lawsuits and other issues nagging the business plan/family infighting) is doing as all garbage stocks should - imploding.

  3. I take no schadenfreude that you lost money on this play, SI.

I hope you recoup all your loss and then some.

  6. Alright I admit I had a small left over bong hit when the CPI came out this morning... but this really started to come to me yesterday it's a complete psychic stock thing based on NO fundamentals and NO good chart I suddenly want to buy MPEL again. Yes I lost $1000 the first time. It's a gut instinct thing... BuyLo what you say? If I promise to sell if it breaks it's low- would I, could I, should I... ?????

  7. Ok I feel I gave everyone enough time to talk me out of it. No one did it's too late now. Stoney is back in with Stanley Ho! What sealed it for me was Kramer finally throwing in the towel as contrary an indicator as you will ever get in a stock. 800 shares.

  8. I just saw this, stoney.

I'd stay the hell away from this stock. But that's just my .02

Even LEND has an earnings history and real book of business. MPEL doesn't yet, and may never.

  9. bylo I got my first invitation for the underwater casino and it just sounds really great. Sure they are cost over rides and we're a tad behind schedule. But quite honestly not THAT far behind schedule. Just a gut feeling but if I can manage to hold it through the summer I think the hype of grand opening might do the stock well. Also a lot of the so so coverage it picked up did say they would be interested in the stock at lower prices they didn't completely pan it. Well here we are at lower prices. It's a crap shoot. If I can scrub the $ together I'd be looking at LV Sands a bit too--
