I did seminars there for years, perfect place to recover from stressful divorce... any tips re condos or areas to live vs avoid (like north strip) within a mile of the strip? Thinking a 2br high floor with view condo up to 3k/month would be fun.
Instead of a condo I think it is better to buy a nice house in Henderson, Boulder City or some other quiet suburb, that is close enough for a quick drive to your conventions, but far away enough to be peaceful for living. That way you will have something to offer a woman besides a bachelor pad, you can also build equity in case you decide to stay there longer than a year, or you can keep it and rent it out for additional income. Houses are so much better than condos, you will have more privacy, a garage for your cars, you can BBQ and have get togethers, and you can still get maid service every few days if you aren't into doing housework. Whatever you decide, I hope things work out for your happiness, that is all that matters.

Off the top of my head...You don't want to be in the jet flight pattern (Nellis or Harry Reid)...But then if you live in Colorado Springs, it might be second nature for you!!
