I agree. The problem is, some people have started some very good trading threads, and guys like Surf come in and contaminate it. Giving the OP the ability to save the thread would cut down on a lot of the garbage posted. As far as which threads would benefit? All of them. Even Surf's anti TA threads. He should have the ability to remove people who he feels are contaminating his thread or are arguing. The problem for him would be his threads would be 2 pages long.
Baron, you need to scan links before people are allowed to post them. Pikachu9 posted links with Trojans in my yellen summers thread, and yet you haven't banned him. Other suggestions I have are especially to not change the website, but I would really like to share my best conversations without worrying about editing links. There shouldn't be any dislike or like buttons or even thread ratings. They detract because they're typically based on a political opinion and historical interaction that shouldn't be displayed anywhere if you expect legitimate users willing to identify themselves on your site. Marketsurfer should have stayed banned. He's repeatedly posted links to places where he is compensated in the thousands and had the nerve to start a thread to sell a phone worth also thousands. I haven't seen where communication with folks able to provide meaningful advice in the forums for discussions on coding aren't prevented by the fear of lack of ability to self-moderate or have private chat rooms that would do more for enabling flame wars than having areas that may require such things as passwords. The integration to facebook, linkedin, and embeds at youtube will do everything to bring even more visibility to your page but also to more crowd advertising that you seem not to notice even though threads started by unknown aliases followed by requests for experience with certain as well unknown financial products brings too much scrutiny to regulators that certain people on this website basically forwarn others about watching what they say as if that should prevent people from saying what they know in real life about individuals they can identify on your site. I have problems engaging my regulator, the NFA and finra state regulatory authorities with my activities here because the terms of service only show if you have violated them (tos) or after aliases make requests for you (to violate your tos) purposely! The knowledge of vendors shouldn't prevent them from approaching others without recourse if people like Mike805 and TalonTrading did in my BWolinsky Trading journal which I thought was more inappropriately handled by Magna's intolerance towards my own self-identification than it was about any intentional violation to advertise. I can't do anything about my online history, and even if I choose to engage others about what I'm doing with my trades, the fact that I carry no qualms about this identity means I don't want to have to worry about whether I can say what I do or whether I advise others and it's not disrespect to you but you tolerated GrandSuperCycle for so long that it was just despicable that such a loon could think that anyone who was an adviser or broker should be treated with such disrespect that all advisers carry conflicts of interest when nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to the approach I've taken in my interactions online. I'd want to see links to share next to each post, and depending on what I want to say, anybody could choose to like on facebook but I don't see it being any benefit to you to do anything else along those lines for your own website. Please add share buttons and a next page with larger font as it would be very useful. I wouldn't change the format other than this, and the moderation despite the difficulties with individuals that disrespect the less fortunate especially should lead to public chastisement and banishment. I see the interactions related to past banned aliases as something to be moderated much more closely than the others and whenever there is no requirement to self-explain issues everyone has had especially with marketsurfer and his refusal to identify his problems with the classifications of trading techniques commonly accepted by everyone here I think that much is certain that even if it's not specific to him anybody like the supercycle dude shouldn't be allowed to post without those clarifications and when faced with questions relevant to those posts attitudes can be dissuaded from appearing to discredit the professionals amongst whom have been educated in communicating these ideas in public domain and what they can and cannot say under legal terms. This then prevents the free advertisers somewhat from easily identifying our conversations elsewhere that are probably relevant to historical conversation and the moderation is more what's needed that I find my own live interaction logged as a kind of inner self-monologue that can be used against me because I choose to identify myself and anywhere I try to explain the logic of how I've come to be who I am, that seems to only be met by immature response and need for self-aggrandizement in distaste to those that would poorly rate threads and posts simply to give the impression that they are somehow in the wrong or unknowledgable about the subjects they are discussing. Just fix these things, please. It's a great site, and the information I've found comes mostly from only very few posts, and large amounts of data and analysis and coding that should be shared more prominently in your featured topics.
Those links in pikachu9's posts were to ZeroHedge and the Washington Post, not some obscure websites. I examined them at the time and saw no problem so I suggest whatever anti-viral program you are using is giving you false positives. There was no reason to demand banning (as you did in 3 separate Complain posts along with mentioning it again in your post here), he's been a member for 2½ years and even if there had been a problem there was no evidence it was intentional. Relax.

Not for nothing Surf, but you have cluttered up some very good threads. You hate TA....we get it. It's beyond obvious that your agenda is not to debate rationally, but to be controversial and pollute good conversations. Your anti-TA stuff is truly disturbing. I'm not sure if you failed miserably trying to use TA or watched guys use TA while you failed with another approach.....but whatever happened you clearly are to the point of being over run with some serious anger issues involving TA. One final note Surf. As far as threads not taking heat. I can't tell you how many times I got warnings to lay off you and not post in your threads. So if that's the case what good were any of your threads?
