Moving Forward: Your Opinion of ET

Discussion in 'Feedback' started by Baron, Aug 21, 2013.

How Should ET Move Foward from here?

  1. ET needs to implement lots of new features, like Facebook, LinkedIn and other social sites.

  2. ET should incrementally add new features based solely on user feedback.

  3. ET should get rid of features like Books/Brokers/Software Ratings and stick to forums only.

  4. ET has been great for the last 15 years just like it is and should be left alone.

I don't do sympathy I do respect ~ you have gone out of your way to make that impossible.

  2. Ridiculous. Value is relative--- the mob can't decide for others on what's valuable or not. In fact, the mob is ALWAYS wrong in the market. Same thing on this site . If you don't get this, I'm surprised you can trade at all.

But your motivation is obvious and classic----master mentor--- your new name

Wouldn't you just love to have the " master mentor" designation?!, Wow ! I 'll bet you are a stealth vendor who sells "education". Am I right? I also see that you have another alias on this site--- You know that's against the rules. Mods, check this guy closely.

    Pot - kettle - black

    I will say this Dave:
The more cornered you are, the more crap you come out with.

  4. Also, the more cornered he is, the more people he starts putting on "ignore". It's his way of waiving the white flag.

Nope wrong again. Nothing to sell. I would like to avoid ET going out of business and all of the content on this site being lost. I have not backed up some of the older helpful forums that I refer to from time to time.

As a developer I also respect the time and effort Baron has put into this site and I would hate to see him lose it or reduced in value. It is called 'professional respect' for other's property. (It is an advanced concept---I don't think you understand.)

I view this site as a small business, like a Deli sandwich shop. Great food, great location, but 5 or 6 homeless, unwashed, rude people camp out at the doorway and shout at each customer as they enter and leave. Soon the foot traffic disappears as more of the homeless arrive and paying customers refuse to stop by. If I was Baron I would clear the doorway and replace it with a 'welcome' mat.

    Any other questions?

Fully agree, its all very questionable.

I hate this kind of market scumbag. Around 80 % of the trading books on my shelf, were written by market scumbags.
Trouble is, you have to buy them to find out.

  7. I appreciate you being reasonable. I'm not sure what you mean. It looks like Eprado will be buying me dinner and beers in Del Ray after my Palm Beach move is complete. How am I cornered? Thanks! surf

Perhaps baron won't have to add OP moderation after all?

  9. Everything is relative regarding money. Being born in the ghetto and scrounging food like a family of raccoons, I'm sure my definition of serious isn't compatible with the trust fund BSD's I'm conversing with.

I agree about the trading books but would put the number worthless at 90%. I reviewed financial books for Wiley for years so I have 100's. I think I speak as an authority on this matter. surf

Well, it looks like your logic is flawed in most posts to start with.
And you're being exposed on many fronts, by many people.
As you try to fend them off, your replies become more illogical.

Its like a watching a drowning rat, clawing at anything to stay afloat and grab some air.

If its any consolation, I feel sorry for you.
