Moving Forward: Your Opinion of ET

Discussion in 'Feedback' started by Baron, Aug 21, 2013.

How Should ET Move Foward from here?

  1. ET needs to implement lots of new features, like Facebook, LinkedIn and other social sites.

  2. ET should incrementally add new features based solely on user feedback.

  3. ET should get rid of features like Books/Brokers/Software Ratings and stick to forums only.

  4. ET has been great for the last 15 years just like it is and should be left alone.

  1. You are welcome.

It's not even most everyone. It's a few thin skinned phonies who want to turn ET into a kumbyya campfire singalong. Each one feeding off the others claims empowering them to keep losing money. I just call it like I see it. surf

PS--reread Barons very wise words about why self mod would never work and is a huge mistake. Read and learn the truth.

  2. Your fatal flaw is assuming you always see things clearly. My suggestion is to go get your eyes checked.

ET's own equivalent of thread "price drivers" say otherwise. Right now it's pegged at one. Wouldn't that normally be an all in no stop short for you?

  4. I know that I am wrong often. I was once a strong TA proponent but after seeing tremendous overwhelming evidence to the contrary, I changed my mind. You should see my pro TA debates with a few financial leaders. Several dinosaurs here still believe and preach the TA gospel --- complete with contradictions and inherent flaws--- what kind of poster would I be if I didn't challenge these folks. Some even are vendors making it that much more wrong. Sure, I have made mistakes in the past. But I learn from them and move on. surf

  7. In all seriousness , you don't find your obsession with marketsurfer and his posts just a tad bit "unusual"? Everyone, look at this guys post history--- look at how fast he responds and the number of posts in reply to marketsurfer. What's wrong with this picture?

Here is one of my posts on NN trading --- can you point to a single post out of your 20,000 plus that shows even 5% of the skills reflected in this message? I haven't seen it...

This is the type of content that will bring both posters and ad revenue to this site. Not daily 'food fights' that teach nothing but bad manners. I value my time and knowledge and do not waste it in stupid exchanges that you are so expert in.

ET is not the only place to post. I am a very active poster on other trading forums. Why would anyone invest in generating content, sharing their ideas, and trying to make progress in building their account here as the site is today.... I will not participate in any thread where you or Hershey jump in and hijack the content.

Baron ---- ban this guy and reduce the noise by 50% --- quality of the signal increases 200%

    Simple...

A perfect example of rubber necker psychology. Ever get stuck in traffic because everyone wants to slow down and look at the the crash on the other side of the road?
