Moving Forward: Your Opinion of ET

Discussion in 'Feedback' started by Baron, Aug 21, 2013.

How Should ET Move Foward from here?

  1. ET needs to implement lots of new features, like Facebook, LinkedIn and other social sites.

  2. ET should incrementally add new features based solely on user feedback.

  3. ET should get rid of features like Books/Brokers/Software Ratings and stick to forums only.

  4. ET has been great for the last 15 years just like it is and should be left alone.

You are about the only thing that can be considered a consistent troll on this site.

This is nothing more than a reflection of how chaotic your mind is, assumptions assumptions assumptions, mind numbing repetitive crap, no link, no substance.

Knowing nothing of my trading you assume I am a failed trader, on the grounds that you do not like ta. If you were an established trader it would not be half as bad to have to put up with these assumptions.

I do not know Baron and wont hold his choice against him, after all this place is a venture for him, it is however clear from the choice he makes on this issue if he views this place as a clicks for cash biggest post count wins, where "controversy" and being told you "live in the past" due to your choice of trading method rules the day, or a place people come to learn and not be interfered with by morons.

  2. Sheda,

You dont understand the first thing about psychology--- if you and the other surf haters, were actual winners in the market you would care less about what I say, when or how I say it. And if it really bothered you, i would be on ignore. The reaction to my posts tells me all I need to know--- the real success stories on this site either agree with me OR they are humored and entertained by my posts if they disagree. I have met several million plus per year traders on this site---none of them are in the surf hate camp-- Ever wonder why? Check your head, man. Your actions speak louder than any words.

  3. First you provide that spreadsheet of all your trades from 2002 to now, proving your are, indeed, net positive (as you claim) and I'll reveal the best burger I've had in NYC.

Thanks. I agree 100%. There would be more quality threads without the useless noise and constant whining by train wrecks. The train wrecks would basically be limited to their threads of selling things.

Hopefully Baron goes this route. It would bring much more quality discussions.

  5. It would end discussions and ultimately be the final nail in the ET coffin. Giving the Hoi polloi power to moderate. What a joke! This is the jungle, just like the markets. If you can't take the heat, start your own kumbyya site.

  6. There is no doubt change is in the air. It seems like the overwhelming majority of those who posted here feel that some self policing would do wonders to revive healthy trading discussions.

I'm looking forward to seeing a new ET and I know others do as well.

Rich of you to speak about psychology when yours was turned into that of an absolute fool seduced by the market, announcing unbreakable highs all because your confidence was pumped up by several correct decisions that came before it.

But that is a good way to frame it, only the successful are with you those against have to be failures, have you ever considered they simply don't give a dam for your antics, as they make millions you are piddling around with a journal that is of zero consequence and you will come in handy one day should they need some marketing.

A while back in a thread, I cant remember the exacts, it was about fx traders being real. I said something and one of the guys went off on one as if I was talking under his supreme market knowledge, after all he knew it could not be done in response I said I did not write it for you, I wrote it for the new trader who is going to pass through here and read it in 5 years.

We all know a thing or two about psychology and for a good while now we have got to see your unique psychological dysfunction rip through this site, its about more than you, if you were not here someone would be in your place, how this is dealt with defines the environment and premise of this website.

EliteTrader to be worthy of the name? Or are member's to be continually attacked, topics derailed and be accused of being failures for raising their eyebrow at the one with furiously dysfunctional psychology?

  9. This is the point: NO!

The freedom to respond is just as important as the capacity to.

Quit suggesting this crap. Mods'll deal with it, but frequent urination on threads is a choice and even less frequent if you bring it to the attention of certain posters that it is unwanted.

Surf's obsession is to transfer control to self-interested parties, and we need disinterested 3rd parties here to maintain the appearance of regulation which is not out of line with free speech which is something you want to ban because my choice whether to talk to marketsurfer has to do with that I can say too many bad things about him so there's no point in continuing to suggest this garbage.

  10. This is the point: everyone who doesn't like each other will just put zero, and such things infuriated me so as to not give my business to places that were not professional, and this includes my opinion of c2 and their style of moderation with ignore functionality with greater than 100% calculations and ignorance by Matthew Klein for his continuation of the immature repetitive garbage bins of systems he wanted to keep on his websites.
