  1. Just caught "The Natural" on Bravo w/Redford and Kim Basinger. Hadn't seen it for a long time and just had to watch the whole darned thing.

    IMHO, other "timeless" movies in no particular order:

    Heat - Dinero and Pacino in the coffee shop. Classic.


    The Shawshank Redemption

    The Professional (aka Leon) - is Gary Oldman the greatest "bad guy" ever or WHAT? Except maybe Christopher Walken.

    The Untouchables

    The Man Who Would be King

    The Magnificent Seven

    Dances With Wolves


    Scarface (Al Pacino version)

    Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - If you haven't seen Steve Martin as "Ruprecht," you haven't lived.
