Just caught "The Natural" on Bravo w/Redford and Kim Basinger. Hadn't seen it for a long time and just had to watch the whole darned thing. IMHO, other "timeless" movies in no particular order: The Godfather I & II Hoosiers Aliens Heat - Dinero and Pacino in the coffee shop. Classic. Braveheart The Shawshank Redemption The Professional (aka Leon) - is Gary Oldman the greatest "bad guy" ever or WHAT? Except maybe Christopher Walken. The Matrix Superman I Saving Private Ryan The Untouchables The Man Who Would be King The Magnificent Seven Dances With Wolves Goodfellas Scarface (Al Pacino version) Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - If you haven't seen Steve Martin as "Ruprecht," you haven't lived.
1. Star Wars 2. Raiders of the Lost Ark 3. Big Trouble in Little China 4. The Rock 5. Brazil 6. The Seven Samurai 7. Terminator 2 8. Enter the Dragon 9. Boogie Nights 10. The Kid with the Golden Arm (classic 80's chop socky flick) 11. Silverado 12. Cinema Paradiso 13. Blade Runner 14. Road Warrior 15. Debbie Does Dallas
Not really a movie, but the pictures that Aphie took of his trip to Manhattan are riveting. I can watch them over and over again and never get bored.
