2010 summer is shaping up to be the worst movie going season in a long time. None of the action-adventure-scifi movies are measuring up to Star Trek/district 9/ Avatar from last year or Iron man1/Dark Knight/Transformers1 from previous years. I've seen a few movies this summer and I was sorely disappointed. IM2 was especially a letdown. The movie had no coherence whatsoever. Part of the problem is following up so soon after Avatar. People expect to feel the same way after seeing Avatar (wanting to immediately go back and see it again and again as I wanted to) as they do for any summer movie. This won't happen. I am looking forward to the next Twilight, the Ateam, the airbender, Tron, Karate Kid and a few more movies this year.
