I think it's offensive to everyone that either survived the holocaust or lost a family member in the holocaust. It's in very poor taste. You are using an event that was one of the most disgusting and horrific events in the history of the world for shock value and political gain. It serves no purpose except to stomp on the memories of those who experienced that tragedy. There are a million ways you can attack Bush if you want without bringing Hitler, Nazi's and the Holocaust into it. How desperate do you have to be to have to resort to that to win a political office. Is it really worth it. It just shows you that those on the left will stop at nothing for political power. They have no sense of decency and hey, who cares right, it wasn't them living in Germany in 1940. What do they care. What a sad world we live in.
Don't use the Holocaust as a shield for George Bush. That's really low. And "The Army of One" makes no reference to Hitler.
Mav, don't you care about anyone who is not a Jew? Do you believe that a holocaust type event could not happen in the US? It's happened before, why not again? My suggestion to you is, stop whining about what happened in the 30s and 40s, and focus on preventing it from happening again. Open your eyes and mind.
<VBG> Obviously, you're too young to have watched the Watergate trials . . . And, incidentally, the Jews don't have a monopoly on pain. If you can surface from your wallow for a moment, give a thought to all the other victims of genocide.
My point is why even use any of this for political gain? It's sick. Can't you guys on the left just argue the facts and the issues. Why do you have to make comparisons to Hitler and the Nazi's? Are you guys that scared that you don't have a snowball's chance in hell come November. Is the reality starting to sink in now? Your last line of defense now is to just defame and slander the President and his family and compare him to Hitler. A lot of bright people over there on the left huh. What does your party stand for today anyway? Do you guys believe in anything? Do you have any values? Is anything sacred to those on the left?
oh your gonna play the "anti-semitism" card now are you HA!:-/ ps if you must at least learn to spell semitic
Assuming that you're trying to refer to members of a political party, they're "Democrats". And the word, which supposedly is one of the most important in the language to you, is "anti-Semitic". If I were an anti-Semite (did you get the change from adjective to noun there?), I'd not likely know how many Democrats were like me. But since I'm not, I'm even less likely to know. Hope you didn't have to de-cloak yourself from your pain for too long in order to reach your keyboard.
