Moveon.org has got to be shut down!

  1. Part of the process. Good news is it helps in the long run (or at least we gotta keep telling ourselves that).

Bad news; it will happen again.

Except to quitters. The one thing I know for sure you are not.

    Peace,
    :)RS

  3. oh.. he didnt have the balls to send troops to Afghanistan, remove the Taliban who were protecting Bin Ladin and then blow half the country up looking for him?

the thing being that we dont know exactly where bin ladin is.. if we did, we would have already killed him.. but we knew where Saddam Hussein was.. and we knew that he had trained terrorists at Salmon Pak for exactly the type of hijacking that took place on Sept 11.. we knew that he was paying the families of suicide bombers in palestine to murder innocent Jewish women and children.. and we knew that Saddam would eventually have to be dealt with anyway.. so, Saddams number came up.. big deal.. the Iraqis are MUCH happier and will have far better lives now.. our countries interests in the region have been greatly advanced.. and no one is questioning if the US is serious about terror.. look at Lybia.. look at North Koreas new willingness to discuss their nuke program..

as for the terrible job Bush is doing.. exactly what is so terrible about an economy that his tax cuts have stimulated, just like he promised.. or an education system that has been improved, just like he promised.. or a drug benefit for seniors that he recently signed, just like he promised.. is it so terrible to have a president that doesnt embarrass us in front of the world with his sexual escapades in the oval office.. is it so terrible to have a president who has class?..

Is it me or does moveon.org remind you of a cult?

"Second, we need you to get the press back on the right track. After you've corrected the negative accounts, write an upbeat letter to your local paper about the exciting and positive aspects of the contest and the finalists. These ads reflect the courage, hope, and deep patriotism of our membership. They're creative, passionate, and totally unlike most of the political ads that are out there. And perhaps most importantly, they were picked in a democratic way. Now that's a story."

"By sharing that URL with your friends, family, and colleagues, you can help to make sure that the RNC isn't successful in stealing our finalists' glory."

"Obviously, MoveOn.org and its 1.7 million members are now on the right-wing radar. They are going to do everything they can do to silence us, and we simply won't let it happen. Smear tactics and campaigns of misinformation have no place in American democracy."

Are you telling me these statements don't remind you of the same strategy that the church of scientology used a few years ago when word was getting out about them? In fact I think these were there exact statements plus or minus a couple of words. Just very similar.
