    Absolutely not !

In the early 1800s, they was no such thing as Algeria, mostly tribes living without any kind of civilization.
    The natives were about 500,000.
Then, the area was colonized by France, until the 1960's, when Algeria was some sort of French California.
At this time, there were about 55% percent French and 45% Arabs in Alger, and about 50%/50% in Oran.
The revolution started when Arabs became the majority.
But, for more than a century, the Arabs never got French citizenship.
The children born in Algeria from French parents inherited the French citizenship through the 'right of blood'.
Hence, when Algeria became independent, most French citizens got back to France. Most of them never had been in France before. Some had their family in Algeria for 5 generations.

So, the current Algerians, mostly Arabs, do not have French citizenship. The Algerians from pre62 Algeria who got back to France were French citizens.

  5. People vote with their feet. New immigrants come to america because it is a better place to live than the place they came from. People who hate america should get the hell out.
