We don't currently have a video on that yet. We are updating all of our content to reflect our latest version. We are putting out at least 2 videos a week, but there is a ton of functionality to cover. If you email support@motivewave.com, they may be able to create a quick informal video showing you that functionality.
This was an easy addition, so it is in version 6 beta 3D, which was released about half an hour ago. You can download it from our Download page: https://www.motivewave.com/download.htm
Thank you very much for your help. I downloaded the Beta3D but I still cannot find any option to the Break Even button (an option to move SL to entry price + 1 tick to cover commission)... Anyway, please implement it in later version. Siera chart can do it and many people like this feature. In addition, while I already have stop loss and take profit orders open, when I click Break Even button, my previous stop loss is still alive and I have to manually remove this old order. It's not logical IMHO......
Sorry for bothering you but I have one more request. MotiveWave's VWAP doesn't have an option to display standard deviations which is a common option to other platforms. It's somewhat unexpected. As you know, VWAP is very important tool to day traders. Thanks
I believe our Support team worked with you on accessing the offset to the break even button and everything is ok now?
This has been put on our feature request list. If you need it sooner, you can program your own custom study in MotiveWave using our Java SDK. The VWAP source code is available for you to use as a base for adding on the standard deviation lines.
Yes. You can set up a custom instrument for that. We also have several studies including Instrument Ratio, Instrument Overlay, Instrument Graph, Spread, and Bid/Ask Spread.
Thank you very much for your support. They are still working on it. Anyway, it's not urgent and it's still on Beta stage. When official version's released, everything will be fixed. You have great team and great product. I'm really impressed. Thanks
Is there a way to see the percent change of every bar, like it is possible in TC 2000? What is really helpful in MotiveWave is the Auto Trendline option. It helps to save a lot of time and prevents you to overlook dangerous chart zones. The charts look very beautiful.
