You can figure it out from there, tis simple. Budget establishments are prime for illegal activity.

 

That’s not what happend here. Motel6 informed on people just because they were Hispanics. Not because motel6 had any reasonable suspicion.

It was racial profiling.

Nothing wrong with racial profiling. As long as you're not arresting innocent people, its fine.

 

ALL profiling is good police work, it's just the racial sensitivities of the day bristle at it.

Also, tipping off to the authority doesn't require a warrant. A warrant is issued when the entity refuses to cooperate with the authority.
