LOL... are you kidding me? With all the laws we have about freedom of religion and all this jazz, the rest of society is going to be forced to do things their way. Then when they multiply enough, they will have enough voting power to change the laws so that things are only done their way.

  2. Have faith and confidence in your own democracy system and your fellow citizens!

Pray that some visionary Muslims would bring the same level of faith and confidence to change the political system and fellows in their native countries!

I think its just as doomed as socialism co-existing with capitalism.

Listen... when women have to be covered up from head to toe in front of men as a symbol of modesty, there is simply no way to bring them into the current/modern world we live in. I for one would hate to raise my children in a society where its ok to oppress women for some bullshit reason and call this forward thinking and fair. There is simply to way to teach children about equality if we are to accept that its ok for this religion to have all these messed up rules. We are doing a great injustice to citizens everywhere to practice tolerance for these rituals. To accept this injustice under the guise of religion and tolerance is going backwards. It is akin to watching a crime happen before your eyes and do nothing about it. By accepting their religious "practice", we are saying oppression and inequality is ok.

  5. It's a complex issue that could likely be improved in the next few generations. Given enough time, the Muslim immigrants' faith would become gradually more and more rational, moderate and liberal.

If they were never given the chance to live in a western world, to study and experience western democracy system/culture, they might never change - stay in their native villages forever!

BTW, similar societal problems in different forms can also exist in other faiths and cultures, AFAIK.

I'm not sure why you replied specifically to my post, like I was in disagreement with what you said.
But no idea why you add China as a country having a major problem with refugees , even less refugees who take a toll on social welfare there.
China does have a problem with some muslims though, uighurs to be precise, but they are local chinese if not Han, and the way chinese authorities deal with them make Israel look like a country of bleeding heart liberals ( and you shouldn't imply I disagree with the chinese authorities either)

I quoted your post because I wanted to use it as a starting point for my comment. I thought it was obvious?

I live in Malmo. Och nej, inte ryss-troll, men äkta dansk-jävel dock.

And yes, you do sound distrustful, I guess it's default mode on ET to accuse every new poster of trolling.

If you live in Sweden, which I assume you do based on your use of the Swedish language and your biggest concern is The Russians, you are obviously not living in any of the working class cities most affected by the fake refugees invasion.

Good on you. Don't worry though, in another 5 years time, when the last fire department has been shut down and the last police officer has quit his job, you'll feel the Bern too ;)

By then I will have moved out of this broken country and emptied my ISK trading account, to go live somewhere sane, with strict immigration laws and a welcoming attitude towards self-sufficient people with money to spend..

Well that was the hope and the noble idea but the concern is they do NOT adopt and they resist changes. They go to the host country and they expect everyone else in the host country to change and adapt to their religion and adopt THEIR way of life, even their law!!

    .

In one of the Youtube vidoes, the narrator even believes that it's because the existent citizens in the host country do not accept them enough. Well it's a bit hard when the people who come in to the country, to your hometown, to your homeland of where you grew up and lived your whole life to tell you you are ugly, you are dirty, you are unworthy just because you choose to wear the clothes that you have been wearing all your life and you are going to burn in hell just because you don't believe in the same religion as they do.

And I am not sure if the second generation would be any better. All the terrorists responsible for the Paris attack and the bombing of the Belgium airports were second generation of migrants who settled in Europe; they were born and raised in Europe.

Yes but they do NOT hate and condemn their country on a fundamental level unless of course if they are brainwashed. Seriously I don't understand WHY those police and the government of those European countries choose to stand by and do nothing about those migrants who choose to commit crimes in those countries all in the name of Islam. They are NOT Muslims; they are CRIMINALS and TERRORISTS!!! All those migrants who choose to commit crimes should be round up by the police and get deported. That way, the productive migrants who choose to live peacefully and make a positive living in the host country stay and the criminals who actually give immigrants a bad name LEAVE just like how you kick out bad guests!

  10. Very reasonable comments! Perhaps there should be periodic, say monthly or fortnightly, town hall forums for people who are interested in exchanging views and opinions.

Old, young, new migrant, long-time settled migrant, extreme, moderate, liberal, academic, politician, social worker, religious leader, researcher, policeman, medical doctor, bus driver, teacher, student, housewife, preacher, believer, non-believer, etc. etc.

Also discussion contents should be reported by major media channels. Even better broadcasting live.

That would be valuable documentary for worldwide audience. Probably a very popular too! A very hot burning topic!

Useful for researchers and policy makers as well!

Never too late to launch this project worldwide!
