  1. Seriously? Wow, that is a major sellout by James. Perhaps he overstated his trading prowess as a big swinging d@&k working as a prop trader for BNP Paribas. Makes you wonder.

Oh well. Another one bites the integrity dust.

  5. You CAN'T answer that question, don't you ..after I made it clear that I place TradingZoo in the same category as Franz Shoar
Your mother should teach you some manners, KID :) (It takes a lot of courage to be a though guy on message boards,no? , anyway, no hard feelings, brother..)

Anyone have any idea what it is with this forum?

I have no knowledge or opinion on the subject or reasons for the insults
posted earlier on this thread, but the fact that they are there at all is the reason I ask the question.

On investment discussion group on say Yahoo, the conversations
are mostly civil and intelligent and of course there are such discussions here as well.

But I've noticed a significant percentage of folks here that act like they are drop outs from a junior college finance program. Having moved back in with mom and dad at age 22 and found marginal employment in the blue collar sector of the economy they wander about with a chip on their shoulder, angry at life in general for having failed them and the high point of their week is getting is altercations at the local bar in an effort to assert something about themselves.

Are the rude and ignorant here doing the same thing?

Any psychologists on EliteTrader who care to speculate on this?

  7. He suspected me of being a shill for a certain vendor, I have made it clear, I am not.
With all the shills wandering here around at ET, there is enough reason to be careful BUT let's keep it civil at least and back up the accusations with some quotes that demonstrate the latter..

I am not a psychologist but I have my opinion.

That was part of my point....people make a statement with nothing to back it up, no logic, no supporting information. I've noticed this on another thread on neural networks where several people informed me that what I'm doing is technically impossible. We'll I've been doing it profitably for several years. These folks probably didn't even know how to spell "neural" but seemed to have some psychological need to appear as experts.
This is a behavior common in insecure adolescents.

  10. Agree. For some reason, members here are a bit negative and unfriendly to certain extent. So far, I don't have a good experience in this forum.

So, don't take it to heart. Just forgive them.
