The top 10% of income earners pay over 70% of income taxes. This includes paying for the services used by non tax payers and low to middle tier tax payers. So, the vast majority of America needs to shut their mouth when it comes to the "wall street" bail out. Ironically, the middle to lower tier earners are the most vocal about the bail out yet, THEY ARE NOT PAYING FOR IT.
People need to take responsibility for their own actions and stop complaining period. You pay high taxes. The only thing this means is that you are more responsible (than those who pay less or no US taxes) for what the government does since the government is funded by taxes. If the government does good things, thats to your credit. If the government does stupid things thats to your credit. PS... in a world full of complainers, you may think you have the right to complain more, but this doesn't address the underlying problem of responsibility.
You think these "protesters" pay taxes? They couldn't spell AIG. <IMG SRC=http://elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2358139>
that't the culture that's been imbeded in the us for the last couple of decades, thnx to our f'ing politicians.
In our world of "one man, one vote", you've got it ALL wrong... For your comment to have any validity, we would need a system where "$1 in taxes paid = 1 vote".
