Sometimes these videos are put up when in fact they were taken years ago. Or in some other country! Or in the wrong context.
Even if there were 2 million chanting anti Western slogans last week, in a country of 80 million I'm not sure that's such a big deal.

We have plenty of muslims in the UK chanting anti Western stuff too, so I'm sure they get whipped up into even more of a frenzy in the Middle East. I don't think "freeing Palestine" is necessarily anti Western, for more moderate muslims I guess this means something different, reaching a compromise with Israel. Maybe wishful thinking on my part.

  2. Imagine being born in a resource ultra rich country growing up living in a little house made out of horseshit.

You would be anti western too.

You would say fuck them, let's keep our own oil or ask 500$ a barrel for it.

The dictators that rule these 7th century backwaters keep the oil profits for themselves, then stir up the masses in their camel shit houses against the "Great Satan".

By giving the masses in these countries an enemy to blame for their poor living conditions, the rulers keep them from realizing that their own governments and mullahs are keeping them in poverty.

  5. I agree. The leaders of these poor countries unite their people with a common enemy in the west which allows them to shift the blame for their poor, underdeveloped country from themselves to someone else. All the while they continue to stash millions away offshore.

They could number 200 million, for all Israel cares. "Palestine" is already free; it's Gaza and West Bank.

Beside these two territories, Arabs also make up 20% of Israel's population. The term "Palestinians" is a technicality; there is no difference between Jordanians and "Palestinians"; they were all nomadic Bedouins that migrated to the area after it was razed by the Romans.

The funny thing is, the majority of Arabs living in Israel and enjoying all the benefits of the civilized nation look at all the anti-Israel protests around the world and think "what a bunch of idiots".

Fact is, the moment the future Islamic Republic of Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, etc etc, try anything with Israel, they, and the whole world, know what awaits them. It's definitely not a prolonged war of attrition.

Protesters in Arab are idiots as they will only change the villians in power and rest of the story will be the same. Egypt is now officially under the military and in six months military will appoint its own man and rest will be the same as before.

There has to be a give on each side. People on the top cannot stash away billions in foreign banks and leave more than half of their populations on mere $200 a month budget for a whole family.

What is a difference in lifestyle between $100M and $1B.............I would only say that there is more media attention to the Billionaire, rest is pretty much the same............restaurents, escorts, golf club memberships etc. etc. May be guy with a B has a bigger plane or yatch.

Furthermore, what good is money sitting in the foreign bank and doing nothing. Why not spend or rather invest it in own country and get jobs and opportunities for needy and humbled. That is a better way to grow one's wealth and all the while gaining goodwill from people and getting that 'priceless' feeling of making a positive difference i.e. helping someone in real need. :D
