(although to Dan's credit he knows a lot about the NFL, another reason he's an in tune guy) As RM pointed out I'm a native Chicagoan who lives in both Chi-Town and in South Florida. In each city the incident of white crime is RARE. In fact Chicago's murder rate amoung whites is lower than almost any city in Europe. Out of the 600 or so murders that will occur this year in Chicago, less than a DOZEN of them will be committed by whites! So do guns kill or do Blacks kill? Nik, talks about un-educated whites harboring predjudice more often than rich folk. I would CERTAINLY think so! What neighborhoods in the North did Blacks flee too? Are they integrated into America's fine "leafy" suburbs? No. The average wealthy, suburban white guy in the States has as much contact with blacks as a Canadian does. Even the liberal, yuppie, gentrifying pioneers stay away from black neighborhoods, prefering instead to re-hab housing stock in formally white "working class" districts. Funny but I don't see the South Bronx or Woodlawn in Chicago or Watts or Anacostia in D.C. becoming en vogue places to reside amoung the liberal elite. Gee, I wonder why? OF COURSE it has NOTHING to do with race or crime. Yea right. Nik, I'd like you to find one post where I've EVER said that IMO blacks are geneticlly inferior, geneticlly pre-disposed to crime or any utterance where I've even HINTED that Black's should be reduced in number or marginalized. Rob, I certain you only think that because the word is so tainted by association with Nazism. It's really quite an innocent term, simply reducing to meaning a gradual improvement in the gene pool. Early in the 20th plenty of liberals and socialists thought it was a fantastic idea; among them George Bernard Shaw, Beatrice and Sydney Webb (founders of Fabianism) and Margaret Sanger. Sure, one way of improving the gene pool would be to simply exterminate the lower classes, but get real, not even Hitler advocated that. As long as the more intelligent classes are outbreeding the less intelligent, that's eugenic. Vice versa, and the effect is dysgenic. Guess which effect our current policies are producing?
What do you mean why do I care? Africans are starving in Africa, not in Australia - why do so many Australians care? Because it' simple human nature to care when you notice things going wrong. Furthermore, unwed mothers are state subsidized in Austrralia, too, so it's very much a problem on my doorstep. Rearden, if you admit it's occurring, how can you not care? Those kids aren't turning into geniuses or captains of industry. They're the next crack whores and gangbangers. If they are outbreeding the intelligent classes, how can that possibly bode well for the future of America?
I'm discussin much broader issues than simply black criminality, Pabst. But fwiw, I have a personal interest in American blacks. The reason I am in Australia and not America is because my father left decided to leave Detroit after blacks started making it unlivable for him. He didn't move out to the suburbs, like my uncles, he decided to leave the country, because he believed America would never be able to reign its blacks in. He's an old-style racist who's ten times as anti-black as anyone on this board. His ship stopped in Durban (South Africa) once and he never tired of telling what intelligent folks South Africans were, reserving certain areas for Europeans only. I grew up feeling sickened by his views and it poisoned our relationship for years. It's only been in the last year or two that I've come to accept that he was right about much of (though not all) what he said.

Well yeah, that too. Although it's obviously 'extermination' in the sense that liberals and anti-eugencists understand it. To them, 'extermination' means firing squads and gas chambers. I'm not really sure I know what the Darwinian worldview is. Certainly I think Darwinism is a valid (and validated) concept.
Ironic aside. Case in point of how Blacks fail to integrate into society. Yesterday the Tigers of Black majority Detroit eliminated the Yankees. When the cameras would show crowd shots I'd estimate about one in a few hundred fans were black! Now before some idiot retorts the tired saw "well Blacks can't afford to attend baseball games' I'd add this is DETROIT! Christ the city is FILLED with high paid black teachers, auto-workers, cops, Federal employees..... I'm sure they can find the money to send their kids to a SOLD OUT 50 Cent concert.....

It still bothers me, but not <b>nearly</b> as much as this country's rapid descent into fascism. Why? I can easily escape from the the crack whores and the gangbangers. With my money and my strong preference for rural living, I'm nowhere near the front lines of that battle. The government, on the other hand, is eliminating freedom and destroying liberty in <b>every inch</b> of the nation. ('For the children', of course.) <b>This</b> is an enemy I feel powerless to escape. I feel trapped and helpless under the weight of the government's boot. The fact that I'm one of the few Americans who even <b>cares</b> that we're becoming the new U.S.S.R... that just makes it all so much worse.
