Weird how this isn't what the article is saying at all

I get you're trying to get a rise out people who are still licking their wounds from 2007 but to be honest you didn't even try.

So we are lending to people who are probably more responsible with money (cash only) and don't utilize credit.

The pervasiveness of credit use indicating financial intelligence is why we keep having huge financial collapses. It makes no sense to punish people who don't use credit (which is wise).

TL;DR: new credit score model includes things that really don't matter towards credit worthiness like regular payments to the utility company (not lent on credit) or bank account history (not lent on credit). Lenders are looking to lend to people who do not utilize credit. Just a bunch of FUD, move on.

You have to cleaning up a checkered credit history can help consumers enhance their credit scores, which in turn can improve their standing in the eyes of lenders and potential employers. It’s best to quickly repair credit scores and pay down outstanding debt.
