If it is designed for short term benefit such a loan forgiveness program is likely to destroy the housing market for years.

If it is designed for long term benefit it will destroy democrats for years to come.

Gawd...just amazing the frauds that the gubernment gets away with. The biggest ponzi scheme of ALL time is social secuirty/medicare/medicade.

Guess who is the biggest holder of gubernment debt? It's the gubernment. It is listed as "intra-gubernement holdings" - that is the ponzi scheme right on paper...the theft of our money and our future.

We need term limits, and gawd forbid these power hungry, socialist out of the way!!

The last loan "modification" program ended up with 70%+ failure rates.

Dem's are dooommmmed either way, but they may pass this and seal their fate because it will be the last straw that could seriously start a damn revolution and taking our Country back.

  4. no this is not communism, this is crony capitalism. Marx said that communism is a historical inevitability when capitalism degenerates and the bourgeoisie and their cronies seize control of the productive factors alienating the common worker from the fruits of his labor. it is too early to tell whether Marx was wrong or not. Perhaps his only mistake was not being able to forsee the degeneration of Communism itself, that the dictatorship of the proletariat which was supposed to be interim in nature would not let go of power that easily, provoking a revolution into capitalism....and so the world goes on...

History is cyclical in action, when capitalism degenerates, revolution and communism might be a force that is unstoppable and vice versa.

At this point in time, i would welcome full-fledged Communism not the nansy pansy "Socialism" of Obama. Why not? I have already been alienated from my labour. It does not matter how much or hard i work, the rewards are not mine anymore, might as well have a full fledged revolution and destroy the whole system.
I know as things get worse, many people in the days to come will think this way.

  7. why not give up your wealth voluntarily now for the chance to have the fresh start and the opportunity to succeed instead of being slowly bled to death by taxes?
