A casino will foster addiction by serving you free alcoholic drinks, comping free rooms to stay overnight, etc. FB, GOOG and others of their ilk do not do such things. In what way could they to make their sites "more addicting"? Just because the venue is there, does not mean that they are fostering the use of the venue. That is what I am on about, and Soros should KNOW this.
