Washington Post: “With unemployment near 50-year lows, inflation edging down and wages rising faster than prices, businesses and families are still spending: Orders for American-made goods spiked in June and fresh data this week shows that retail and restaurant sales climbed for the fourth straight month in July.”

“The Atlanta Fed is now predicting economic growth will top 4 percent this quarter.”

On the whole, the president is facing a 64 percent disapproval rating on the economy

For me this has pronounced shades of Carter. His record was actually good* but either he failed to make that clear. The repugs rarely do anything new, I have to wonder did they get Dems to do their dirty work for them back then?

*failures of style and bad luck with Iran. Biden has the botched Afgan pullout.

I agree Carters record was good and I hate that a good man like him has the reputation that he has.Thankfully Biden will take his place as the consensus worst democrat president ever, unlike Carter he deserves it.

Nader, Stein and now West all costing elections that bought horrific consequences representing a party that has sweet fuck all success in putting representatives in the house and senate.

I'm reminded of Stein's companion Putin who early on said he wanted to join Europe, join Nato but wanted to be invited, not go through an application process like the "insignificant countries". The Greens have no mandate and they are trying to skip the selection process.

Now West has declared he would disband Nato and give Russia territorial concessions. I'm just waiting for Cornel to fly to Moscow with Flynn.
