You meant to say that 65% thought it was good under Trump in comparison...reality, Trump was worse considering there were no jobs, no schools, all borders closed for travelers, bad advice about Covid, and protests/riots in 2020.

Think about it, one guy gives you $100 and the other guy takes away $100 from you but you think the guy that took your money away is treating you better...

Americans have much more than a disconnect from reality about the economy...it's just stupidity because they're thinking about other things that has nothing to do with the economy (e.g. two wars that has our financial support, election lies, southern border, abortion issues, et cetera).

The real economic tragedy in America...the rich became richer...the middle class and the poor knows it too.

With that said, most Americans (about 70%) do not want a Biden/Trump repeat. America wants a new face but believes in error there's no one else out there that's better than those two +80 year olds as shown both guys are kicking their primary competition in the teeth.

Just the same, there's a growing percentage of Independents now focusing on the pending criminal cases and the Supreme Court as deciding variables who America will choose between the two for President of the United States.

As I stated, that's the disconnect. Yet, no debates about how America feels in the polls.

Here's an example, a close friend in Kentucky lost his job in 2019 but his wife was working while he went back to school...they were able to get by on one income.

2020 Pandemic hits...his wife loses her job, schools/universities/technical/trade all close down, two relatives die from Covid...all under Trump.

Today, under Biden with family members now vaccinated, they both have higher pay jobs than they had before but they feel left out (that American feeling under Biden) when it comes to the economy. To them...they feel like they're doing worse under Biden while they're complaining about Ukraine, Hamas/Israel, the Southern border crisis...issues that have absolutely no impact on their economics, their higher-paying jobs, and their teenager's education.

That's the disconnect because they have forgotten about the trauma under Trump...they just want to wipe it away from their memory because it was too unbearable for them...often they said it was like a "bad dream".

He said it best, if only there was a better alternative. Amazingly, he said if Trump gets back into the Oval Office and the economy is worst than Biden's economy...he'll feel like he's doing better. :banghead:

There is no disconnect.Americans say the economy is bad and Biden is doing a bad job on it because the the economy is bad and Biden is doing a bad job on it.

Yep, most Americans believe they didn't lose their jobs in 2020, schools didn't close and Covid was a HOAX. I have too many Republican friends who will argue that my dissenting view is wrong about that. :D

Stupidity is telling voters that the economy is good when they know it is not.Since I want Biden to lose Im glad y'all are sticking with that plan :)

Stupidity is when someone tells me their job does not pay higher than when they had “no job”, “no trade school”, higher food prices along with their buddies out of work when the rich were getting richer…

He is telling me that when his wife’s pay is up 10%…
