I hate Trump too.I think hes worse than a lunatic. Not liking him will not blind to the fact that Biden will lose to him in November if they are The Dem and GOP nominees.

Many and the media stated there was going to be a record turnout of Republicans in Iowa caucuses...the number they stated that they expected to show up was far higher than 56k.

Later, when that record number of voters did not show up...the same talking heads gave excuses like...

It was the cold weather.

Iowa Caucus Turnout Was Lowest in Years

The Iowa Republican caucuses were a low-turnout affair, drawing just over 108,000 voters, or about 14.4% of the state’s approximately 752,000 registered Republicans, nearly complete vote tallies showed.

Blame the sub-zero temperatures, the lack of drama in a race that Donald Trump was widely expected to win, or any number of other possible factors. But by historical standards, Iowa’s much-watched caucuses didn't draw much participation. In the last contested GOP caucuses, in 2016, some 187,000 people cast ballots, a record high equating to 29% of registered Republicans.

Do you see the percentages in the above story ?

14% showed up to vote from the state's registered Republicans in 2024 versus 29% that showed up to vote in 2016...similar to the big red wave that did not show up...end of story.

    Super Tuesday
will be coming but it should give a better picture for both political parties. Thus, I will use that as a better gauge for the percentage of voter turnout.

A win is a win...I can not dismiss it. Further, there's no excuse why the Democrats continue to fail at putting up a better competition even after their colossal failure in not putting Biden's name on the ballot in the prior primary...Biden won big there too as a write-in.

Yet Trump got more votes there in 2024 than he did in 2016 and 2020 while Biden the half the votes he got in 2020.

This then creates an importance about those 5 states with the largest Muslim population I mentioned...Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Michigan.

As stated, I'm very curious to see what the vote outcome will be among registered Democrats and the same curiosity about the red states that had the most COVID deaths among its registered Republicans.

A win against Williamson and Dean while losing half your voters is not a win,its a catastrophe.

Tony, he still won. Yet, maybe it will inspire the Democrats to put up a better competition in the next primaries considering the losers had the worst numbers in a landslide loss.

Obama won New York by 26 and 28

Hillary won New York by 23

Biden won New York by 23

Biden is currently up by +9 in New York.

Biden might be the first Democrat to not win NY by 20 or more points in decades.
